We did the same. After a last minute change on masking (none during their summer school) was the last straw.
My daughter's first experience with schooling is going to be positive and exciting, not orwellian and down-trodden.
Found a nice Christian Acadamy at the last minute, and it feels good, Man...really good!

Congrats on joining the club. Homeschooling allows way more flexibility and learning opportunities. Our kid is doing weekly violin lessons, weekly 2hr clay/pottery class and 3 hrs at jiu jitsu 4 days a week. That covers all the art, pe and music requirements. The extra curriculars are close to home and she a lot of friends at jiu jitsu, the first hour is an after school camp. Definitely tap into local resources!

... I work in ATL and the intersection in front of the parking garage entrance to my office is always teeming with Aunt Qweefa poons. Every day that I drive into work and see them out there.... Uh... that's not how theft works. If a straight, but infertile, couple does the same thing, have they "stolen" the baby from its rightful mother? Because it's pretty common for infertile straight couples to use surrogates when it's the woman who can't have children normally.

Yeah, I don’t know about surrogacy, from the ethical point of view it reeks of commodification of both the female body and the baby itself. I think it’s a good things it’s mostly banned here in Europe.

If a woman consents to be a surrogate for a couple that cannot have children of their own, what's the harm?
