I've been quiet because I committed to trying to read the whole thread at the worst possible time, since the site keeps shitting itself and I haven't been able to get far.

I've been quiet because I committed to trying to read the whole thread at the worst possible time, since the site keeps shitting itself and I haven't been able to get far.

I'm too autistic for that. I just run two browsers so I can do other Farms related stuff while I plough through a long thread. It took me about a week to read the Womb Witch's thread. I'm guessing a month for this giant mountain of garbage you guys have so lovingly collected. It's good, tho. I'm learning stuff.

Also, if anyone cares, I wasn't able to view the Broken Staircase List on my laptop (threw a bunch of errors), but it did open for me in mobile. Never thought I'd see Vic's name next to the likes of Momokun. lol. Quite a thing.

If only everyone would actually look into it unbiased. The writing was on the wall. Why no one thought it was a bad idea for at least three major anime localizing companies (Funimation, Aniplex, and Crunchyroll) to be under the umbrella of Sony, I can't say. There's Netflix with enough money to stand up to Sony, but anime is pretty much just a side gig to them.

Sentai is slowly going to get choked out as we see the rise of a chinese cartoon monopoly.

If you told me 15 years ago that SONY was going to be the company standing at the top of the US anime scene, I would have given you a quizzical look.
Viz Media already is allowing their content to be streamed by Funimation and now Sentai is losing a place to distribute their content.
It's only a matter of time before Sony buys both Viz and Sentai at this rate.
