Alright, Nick really rustled my jimmies just now. He was showing off to Ty his special edition "Deathwatch handbook for 40k, from 8th edition" that he bought from eBay. But the book inside the metal case was way too big to be Codex: Deathwatch. When he turned it to the title page with the logo, I recognized what he has. It's actually the corebook for the Deathwatch RPG from Fantasy Flight Games using the 40k IP, released in 2010, 7 years before 40k 8th Edition.

It seems that he bought it on eBay purely as a shelf ornament and never took an honest look at it to realize what it is.
EDIT: Well at least somebody messaged him a correction later on.

Well, Nick's credibility is just completely gone now. What a loser.

I think Nick has said that he's bought a ton of books that he hasn't even read yet. He's read some of them, but definitely not all. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he's at least planning on eventually getting around to that one (whether he ever does or not is another question).

This spergout is reminding me of something. There was a moment in the last or previous to last flashcast that was pretty amazing.

Just Some Guy was going on about how some black comic artist wasn't a real negro. Soft spoken, effeminate, and not assertive. He couldn't handle Just Some Guy's real street criticism and banned him.

Then Nick invited Drexel on and Just Some Guy damn near stopped talking for the rest of the show.

Listening to the 9/11 stream, Nick was talking money in politics and discussed how far your dollars would go on small show like his. He said he was paid $1500 for his Raid Shadow Legends shill stream on Twitch.

Here's my question: How can he, in good conscience, consider himself a grifter when he doesn't even allow his audience to pay for play? He should have an e-shop where you can purchase an hour of his time for $1000. You know there's some asshole who wants more Ace Attorney, or an autist that wants him to watch some magical girl anime that looks like it's for young girls but is actually really deep if you just give it a chance.

Nick likes to pretend he's not a rich boy on a huge trust - but he is. The only way he can afford to do what he does is because he has no worry for money. There is no way he can support 5 kids and a wife on superchats. If he does a stream every weekday thats like 261 days, With an avg of 800 thats ~209k before youtube/apple/taxes. For a single man in bumpkin minnesota it would be good money - but for someone with a large family with lots of kids; it wouldn't cut it. He also says he does his "legal" work for free - so unless his wife is making bank - he's just a spoiled rich kid.
