It's funny, because usually growing a following and getting more engagement means creating something of value to your followers; ironically, the best attitude to have with this goal in mind is either an extremely humble one ("I must put in effort to get the reward") or complete apathy ("I'm going to shitpost what I want; oh damn, people actually find me funny?").

Phil does neither, and provides no value whatsoever. Like his Patreon, there's no real benefit to following him closely minus a stream schedule and occasional (terrible) candid photos.

Even if these are his lukewarm takes on the tech/gaming industry, you're better off following someone that can do a better job of communicating themselves.

So regarding that "unfair comparisons" rant that Phil had, he's wrong as usual. First of all, having an overmoderated Discord he could call the Dentscord would be the easiest slam dunk of all time. Just go there and post your shitty prebaked reaction gifs once a day and you get to bleed the dentheads a little more. Dissent will still be promptly squashed #NotACult. He'd lose nothing and only stand to gain. Having to play Among Us with the Karlsquad and Coomfucius would hardly be the worst thing that could happen. Perks for members aren't a bad idea. I know you're basically a male bitchy thot but even they do the bare minimum.

Regarding his sheer content output, which he seems to think is particularly strong... Not only do other professional streamers stream MORE hours in a day on average, but they do it in a row and often with smaller breaks or none at all. And naturally, they do it without stalling, so they make good progress. Even if you count Dark's two streams, even if you feel super charitable and count his breaks as stream uptime, he's STILL putting out less hours than dudes streaming to three viewers. If you count the breaks as downtime, he's just straight up lying: dude barely manages to put out two hours of gameplay per day stream. In reality he's shortchanging all the dentheads on the gameplay and has been for a good long while. Not to mention Darksy's religiously sticking to walking simulators and kid's games. So well below average in uptime output, entertainment value and interesting content. 3 for 3, garbage streamer, without even going into looks, personality, charisma, skill... It'd be in his best interest to avoid comparisons at all rather than puff his gunt at the idea that he works harder than anyone. Even his community is shit.


If I wanted to see what happened in Last Stop, I'd just look at an "EDITED-STYLE" video with all the branching choices. This sort of shit is ESPECIALLY dependant on the streamer to carry it and make good progress so it doesn't become a snorefest. Phil ackackacking and uhuhuhuuuing at how you could spin characters in last stop for three straight minutes was nothing but a waste of time, and his pigheaded insistence on stalling the fuck out of even games with 0 gameplay with his rants, running recaps of the plot and SHAWTAUTS make him literally unwatchable.

At least we now know Phil's "They hate me because I'm bad at videogames" line was horseshit. Phil barely even plays games anymore, and those he plays are toddler friendly enough that he doesn't particularly suck. But his clown personality, abrasiveness, toxicity, completely out of control begging and general punchability ensures that the hatedom will be alive and well for years to come. He's the workhorse of the Lolcow industry. He may not be as shocking as Chantal, but he rolls out of bed every day to beg, be incompetent and never improve, and that's enough for many.

And clearly Apples profitability rests on 30% of 1 dollar transactions rather than 700$ iPhones.

Phil never does research, and like many narcissists, he just opens his mouth without thinking, and never admits or even considers that he could be wrong.

The best you can hope for is an “agree to disagree tuh-heh-heh” like SBM got yesterday when Phil was clearly factually wrong.

I read it too many years ago to remember it ad verbatim, but basically the old father Karamazov gets furious when one of his sons, the brothers, asks for money and basically goes “Fuck no! I need that money to be able to get women when I’m old and unattractive!”

I'm unclear on what the Kiwifarts specifically have to do with his Twitter engagement. We watch his Twitter, but it's a pretty solid random assortment that speak there. Unless he means the doxings? Phil can blame us all he wants, but this is largely his fault. Anyone that genuinely likes him is best off not speaking to him because he'll block them not only if they say something that he feels could be construed as questioning him, but he'll block them if they reply incorrectly/insufficiently in line with his narrative when speaking to someone he doesn't like. SBM can only get away with questioning Phil publicly because he is an occasional paypig and a totem Phil uses to virtue signal. If anyone else had tweeted exactly the same things to Phil the other day, he would not have said they were having an intelligent discussion - he would have called them an idiot kid and blocked them.

Also pretty telling that he could be spending time with Kat right now, and yet is once again on Twitter, this time literally begging for people to talk to him.

Because Tales of Arise requires him to have to pay attention and do stuff while Life is Gay is easy and that's what we're going to be getting from Phil for the foreseeable future. Nobody wants to see it but it's piss easy and he doesn't have to do anything. So of course he's choosing that game over anything else

I started playing Tales of Arise yesterday and so far it's good, of course, and they made the game smoother and easier overall. The character's are not gay, assuming you can accept the Japanese way to create characters and personalities. If Phil wasn't such a pussy and fearful of embarrassing himself, he and his audience could have some fun.

Correct. His fans do fear his rejection cause they are exceptional unless you are as super exceptional as SBM. Both, Phil and his fans, live in pignosis. Also, he has about 200 stream viewers, a good chunk are trolls, and like with every other content creator you can't expect the same fans and numbers to show up on your Twitter. Everyone has his preferences. We know that but there is no silent majority, Phil.
