In all seriousness, Phil has been needling for asspats for a long time in order to fellate his glass ego. He's been doing self-righteous garbage that's about as thin as his hairline, while turning around and doing the exact opposite to what he prescribes. His LGBTQ "support" is probably one of the most glaring examples. It's only now that he's starting to ramp it up in order to glean some coin from unsuspecting morons.

Well when you start getting one resource easily, your brain naturally gravitates towards wanting the things you don't have.
The whales he has now will give him what he wants, whenever he wants, and literally don't care about a single word he says, so he takes their money for granted and subconsciously no longer sees it as a real boon. That's why Phil still has to berate his viewers when he has $100/150 in tips. "We only got here because of this one viewer, you know we haven't hit the tips goal in a few days, just saying..."
His whales can shower Phil with money, they can inflate his sub count, they can tell him how to beat games, but they can't boost his viewership. Snowkarl's the only reason the chat isn't a total wasteland and he's a troll.
But his declining popularity isn't a problem that can be solved by throwing money at it and involves real creativity and effort, so he'll just throw excuse after excuse on it.

Truth is, regardless of what happened to his tweets, Phil wouldn't see it as a negative.

Scenario 1: Phil has a very low amount of retweets/likes. Phil on the next pre-stream says: "See, guys!? See how afraid my fans are of interacting with me? Even when I address them directly, they still don't do it!".
Scenario 2: Phil has a large amount of retweets/likes, Phil on the next pre-stream says: "See, guys!? I've always told you that I have thousands of fans who love my content, it's only because of the shithead trolls that I have low interaction!!!".

When you are delusional like Phil, it's impossible for you to lose. You can be a bankrupt beggar who is a joke to most people who know you and you'll still think of yourself as a successful businessman.

Because Tales of Arise requires him to have to pay attention and do stuff while Life is Gay is easy and that's what we're going to be getting from Phil for the foreseeable future. Nobody wants to see it but it's piss easy and he doesn't have to do anything. So of course he's choosing that game over anything else

Oh, I am playing Tales of Arise now great game. He wouldn't get through the first boss and probably complain about the difficulty. As, one of the early fights has multiple phases. Wouldn't understand combat as there is quite a few menus and probably buy the experience boost off the PSN. I saw it while getting the game off the PSN store and immediately throught Phil would be the kind of person to pay to not play an RPG or as he puts it "grinding." Glad he is not playing it Phil's gameplay to me is only worth watching if he is raging or being insulted like he was back in the day for free in his comment section.

It can't be understated that it's wild just how intense Phil's delusions have become in recent years. If anybody ever doubts that social isolation can completely shatter a person, show them Phil. He had a semblance of a relatively normal life in the early 2010s. Fella definitely isn't "living" per se, now. He slogs on like a geriatric person: A slave to their mental decline. It isn't just physically that Phil is aging ten times as fast as other people, it's mentally too.

With the way he talks, you know his mind is in a completely separate reality from ours and there may never be any way to get it to return. Most lolcows prove that their mental health is fucking destroyed, just by talking into the camera for a few minutes, and Phil is no different.

I feel that @JimiHendrix is also the one making the biggest case for the resuming of neghole pozzing, regardless of any unforeseen consequences of Phil’s ability to generate more shekels from his audience of dent heads that will inevitably happen once he gets fucked with. If last year’s false DMCA strikes and this year’s loss of Twitch partnership demonstrated anything, it’s the pig’s ability to milk any crises to rake in an influx of cash by busting out the world’s smallest violin while denouncing mentally ill shitheads and multi-billion dollar soulless media corporations for all conspiring against him. Such acts do produce some laughs and seeing the pig sweaty while backed into a corner hissing and snorting is always amazing but it always ends up benefitting him rather than penalizing him. If you ask me, if you’re trying to fuck with someone, the outcome of the situation that’s been created cannot end up becoming a net positive for the person otherwise I don’t think you can call such acts trolling but simply a sequence of events that ended up as blowback.

The only issue I tend to have with Jimi’s approach is that we can’t ignore the extents to which Phil has closed himself off from the rest of the world and, in turn, his community. The golden age of fucking with Phil all transpired through his most utilized medium: vidya games. Ever since the Friday The 13th incident that’s became a viral moment within the DSPverse, after Phil was traumatized by getting shit on by two random dudes, he vowed to never allow himself to be vulnerable in any online game. Meaning that public voice chat and private groups with subs/ fans is off the table; the most effective, funniest, and free method of fucking with him has become incredibly difficult to pull off. The most significant and impactful way to fuck with him has been closed off for over a year now and we’ve seen the attempts at trolling transition from in-game harassment to primarily relying on hurling petty insults at him via the only options left to even converse with Phil: SuperChats and tipping. It’s funny because Phil never had a plan to create such a structure of seclusion but years of trauma and getting his feefees/ ego hurt have got us where we are today.

I talked about it last year but I believe SuperCuck kinda gave a blueprint on how to fuck with Phil. Since Phil built a little safe space fortress around himself, the only avenues left to fuck with him are those he relies on to communicate and concurrently make his money: tipping and his streaming platform. Since you can’t get at him in-game anymore, you have to fuck with the administrative rules of the systems he relies upon to make a living. And at this point, you’re banking on huge automated tech bureaucracies to make his life harder. Good luck with that.

You could also fuck with him IRL, but, same shit. This is a man who only steps out his house about 52 times a year. He has modeled the level of exposure he puts himself through online as part of his real life routine as well. If you ask me, that’s probably the result of years of trolling who have taken its toll on a man who has become so paranoid and fearful of being fucked with, he has turned into a literal hermit. Which really brings the question: what more can we do to a man who has become scared of his own shadow?

Everyone new who stumbles upon your channel is very quickly driven away by your ceaseless begging, obfuscation of the truth, fundraisers for yourself, or is outright banned by you or your mods. You said it yourself after your trip home in 2019, "who is going to want to watch a 50 year old man play video games?" Very few people.
