Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Ha! Former Democrats are the only thing keeping the GOP afloat.
You are not wrong, The problem for the GOP is that it almost fully was turned into controlled opposition. The thing about the old Democrats is... there really wasn't that much difference between them and their Republican counterparts. They disagreed on the best methods to do things, but largely shared similar morals and principles. Those old democrats have increasingly found they don't have a place in the Democrat party... and are from an era that they remember how to fight.

So them going over to the Republicans gives the uniparty a good kick in the rear, doesn't really drag the overall morals or principles anywhere, and lets the Republicans re-learn the art of fighting for what they believe in. Much to their former master's fear.

But Trump has always been open and honest that he is what he is. So while we know all that, we also know he's a man of good business acumen, a true patriot, a believer in respecting the workers underneath him. That is why he drives the left mad. They can't really dig their fangs into him to reveal a dark past to make themselves feel morally superior. Trump... is Trump. And he is honest with everyone about both the good and bad that is Trump.
Yea, its been enjoyable watching the democrats try to find the hidden skeletons, only to realize that he put them all up in his lobby and put a little plaque beside them detailing exactly what he did. He's genuinely proud of everything he's done, morally dubious or not. He engaged in the underhanded games, but appears to have genuinely done it from someplace other than malice.
You've effectively described WHY I think Trump is a good person and a role model. Only slightly kidding.
Trump is a very good pragmatist role model - He is in many ways, a walking example of how you can play the game and board without being an evil asshat. Not something to explicitly aspire to, but something to point to as proof that the system is not inherently irredeemable.

I wouldn't call that a flaw. Getting people to spaz the fuck out over anything he said was pretty amusing. It's why people loved him on Twitter before Jack went mad with power and ban-hammered him.

I'd rather have a President that was real and said shit straight-up rather than the fake professional shit the country has had since Obama and below.
I know we're just discussing hypotheticals here but I really want to see Jack's face when he's forced to unlock Cheeto Hitler's account when Drumpf wins again. Hey, you said the POTUS account was a public service right?

I suspect that Jack would prefer to nuke twitter entirely than do that.

Thinking over it, I strongly doubt it's possible to have a political role model nowadays in terms of having a morally pure selfless politician like George Washington. You'd need a man who is able to control a nation that loved him, who was genuinely committed to the ideals of the nation to the point where he personally suffered along with other Americans despite being a wealthy man, and who gave up the chance to be the King of America. There is no one in current American politics who has the Founding Father energy and I am not sure if it is possible for one to exist in any country other than newborn countries that need a great man in order to guide them. The closest we have is Trump but he's a populist and he wouldn't sacrifice himself to the level that Washington did.
I wonder how much of George Washington's history has been whitewashed given that he is the founder of the nation. Founders of almost every nation are regarded as the top hero. Turkey's Kemal Ataturk is seen as a great hero for the Turks despite his role in the Armenian Holocaust. After Washington, we had Lincoln come along to settle the question of slavery and then FDR basically oversee an America that fell into the shitter and come out on top as the winners of World War 2. America gets one great president for every century and the closest right now would be Trump if he manages to win in 2024 and fulfill the America First agenda. Trump is the first president in a long time to finish his term with a loss in wealth and basically compare's Trump holdings before and after his presidential term, basically lost everything like the Miss Universe beauty pageant for example and his well known TV show as well. Truly low brow shit but is our era even good high class shit anyway, its all pretentious decorum bullshit filled with nigger pandering.

On another note, I don't know if Larry Elder will succeed but him winning will be quite something.

America's infantry is fucking terrible. They rely on 'special forces' to do the job a normal infantryman would have been tasked with a few decades ago.

America has become over reliant on it's air force and has allowed it's army to become infested with troons and fat women. The actual number of combat ready troops in the American army, i.e. actual fighting men, is relatively small and nowhere near enough to impose a commie dictatorship in a continent sized country with 150 million gun owners. Tactical weapon systems are not designed to quell civil unrest and 30-50,000 soldiers, most of whom will have divided loyalties, isn't going to cut it. At best they will secure the cities and some supply lines to keep them fed.

Civil wars are a funny thing, all the rules go out the window in a hurry. You can't use local police and soldiers to impose order in an occupied territory because the locals know who they are and where they live and they'll kill their families. So you have to bring in outsiders which turns the population even more radical. I suggest people go read up on the Yugoslav, Syrian or Ukrainian wars to see the likely outcomes. I can't believe the left are insane enough to risk this, literally anything would be preferable from their perspective.

Also LOL

The thing about any civil war scenario is that the elites can and WILL flee the fuck out of the country when the bad shit hits, especially if (as in the case of civil wars) everything collapses overnight and they can't even be safe in their gated communities with private security. They'll flee and claim to be "in exile" while expecting their supporters kill enough "rebels" to allow them to safely come back home from Canada, Europe, or wherever they flee to in order to wait out the carnage.

I got recommended this video recently, my question is, does life imitate art or does art imitate life?

Manchin is angling to absolutely gut the pork in it, which will in turn just absolutely wreck the attempts to refinance the coffers. The man increasingly is angling for a governor position, and the revelation that Governors can have more power than the President may just have been the last bit of oomph he needed to go full 'fuck it'.

FYI: https://nypost.com/2021/07/01/sen-joe-manchin-talks-switching-parties-to-join-gop/ The rumblings began around July that Manchin was possibly considering switching parties. He hasn't yet out of some lingering loyalty, but that loyalty is -frayed- to hell and back.
Not too long after that, he had a meeting with several high profile Republican donors as well. Another interesting tidbit is the Politico had a story about Manchin's approval dropping two points, they alluded to this happening because of his opposition to the 3.5 trillion dollar infrastructure bill, despite the fact West Virginia is blood red. The article also failed to mention the same poll found his disapproval dropped 5 points over the same period.

I really recommend Chernow's Washington biography. I came away respecting him more by seeing some of his flaws. His biggest one was that he had a bad temper that he was always trying to keep in check, so he was very stern and strict with his staff. (He and Hamilton had a BIG fight at one point over (literally) Hamilton not coming down the stairs fast enough and didn't speak to each other for years.) He was also not the greatest tactical general, and his biggest accomplishment was holding a volunteer army together through charisma and inspiration, even if all they were doing was running around New York. That's the part that gets exaggerated most. What he did was amazing, but it's not like he was brilliant at military campaigns, and his presidency itself was mostly non-eventful save for the Whiskey Rebellion.

But he intentionally modeled himself after Cincinnatus, who has his hero throughout his life. The Founding Fathers in general all had loooong views of history and were more concerned about being remembered honorably than gaining temporary acclaim. That's what drove him to the decision to sacrifice so much for the country, resist attempts to give him grandiose titles and powers (there was a Masonic cult that wanted to make him king), and step down before anyone was ready to see him go. Cincinnatus, too, was a great military leader who fucked off before people got sick of him. Washington thought that was crucial for a budding country not to get too tied up in one person. He did all he could in life to downplay his own achievements, so the exaggerations are almost ... corrective because he never wanted to be the focus of attention (even though he was still a politician and was willing to play his rivals off each other at times). He understood the symbolism of being the first president and knew exactly how to play it, and that was his main task.

Manchin switching parties would be a bit of a mistake for him. At best, he'd be just another Republican if he swapped parties whereas as a blue dog democrat, he has considerable power over the Democrats so long as they have a literal razor thin majority.

Washington was a lolcow of a general who scooped victories out of the jaws of certain defeat due to the elements suddenly turning in his favor, such as fog rolling in when he needed it most.

Thank God for Nathanael Greene

Biden said. “To me that’s the central lesson of September 11,” he added. “Unity is our greatest strength.”
I agree, Joe.
Black, Brown, Yellow, most of them willingly assimilated and integrated into the majority White culture & traditions of this great country. United, as one mind and group... and America was unstoppable.

Then some faggots came and said the literal opposite was ackshually true and that we should embrace diversity as our biggest strength.

Subversion's a bitch.

Tbf yellow is still assimilating whether or not they realize it, they're just assimilating into extremely faggy urban soyman 'culture'. If there is hope, it must lie in the baste browns.

That's going to hard one to swallow for some, I mean I'm surrounded by Dominicans who would align with the White Citizen Councils of yesterday, and then some. Just ask them about how not only deporting Haitians from DR, some who had has been there for decades, but their children born in the DR as well, was the best thing since cracked ice for DR. When they've put down roots here that sentiment doesn't go away; if anything, once they face your typical Harlem hoodrat, they double down.

I guess I discussed this in another thread but will give a short summary here. I have observed three camps of thinking for 9/11.

First camp believes the muzzies pulled it all off on their own.

Second camp believes the muzzies did it with aid from the Jews, Mossad, CIA and the neocons in the Bush administration

Third camp believes that the planes were a red herring to distract people from the Jews, Israel and the Neocons in the Bush administration blowing up the towers.
