It was actually really easy and he was handheld for sure, there were step-by-step tutorials on any gaming site you can imagine showing you how to do it. You didn't even need a VPN or anything, all you needed was an Xbox account and you had to buy Japanese Xbox Live credit through Amazon or PlayAsia or whatever other site.

If he had posted this, say, a few days after the incident instead of multiple years after, I would find it kind of cheeky. It looks incredibly desperate when only people with a case of the auts even remembers it anymore. (Should he really be directing EVERY person who looks at his twitter to google 'dsp accident'?)

You say that in jest, but a part of me does wonder if one reason he decided to disable replies now is that he knew he was going to pull this stunt and didn't want to deal with people calling him out.

You gotta love Phil's worldview- him playing bugsnax has significant meaning and value to the world but ancient artifacts and old relics that connect us to our past, teach us about our history and culture, and show us how we got here as a species/society are totally meaningless.

It's interesting cause you'd think as hoarder Dave would understand why people would wanna keep artifacts around. He still has all of his statues and gamer shit he bought and had proudly on display in the CTkahndo.

But of course Dave is a materialistic consoomer and only gets excited for new things. Old shit gets thrown into the storage nook and forgotten about unless some nudnik wants to pay him well above market rate for em.

I think it was made so Phil can't delete Tweets and pretend they didn't happen, but it seems like it's a week behind or something. . .

My only guess is this is somehow a ploy to attract new wheelchairs to his stream. We've seen him trying to clout chase popping up in actual popular peoples comments with little if any success. Would make sense why his example to his viewers was retweeting his weekly schedule. Maybe the dopamine rush from hitting those goals is no longer blocking out the sad fact that 5 (being generous) people at most are willing to get him there. Can't comment on superchats other then it's for sure more then he deserves for his quality of content. The roster is looking a little thin going into hardcore gaming season maybe it's time to restock the bench.

Cult behavior. Phil continues to heavily push the "us vs. them" mentality and Twitter was one of the few places he couldn't keep it in check well. And with SBM talking back to Dear Leader, and Phil needing to talk down to former brainwashed follower MoraMoria, that behavior couldn't continue. Everyone talk about how cool Phil is with his fun, chill gaming streams where he's never done anything wrong.

Phil is pushing it too far imo, though. He should have kept his Twitter "professional" by only posting his autistic schedules on there and not interacting like he used to. Nothing good will come from his doing this on that shithole.
