Phil really should try to understand that "all publicity is good publicity".
If he had just embraced the "guy who sucks at video games" persona, he would both be more likable and richer. Instead, he wants to isolate himself from any sort of criticism. Truly a hermit.

If DSP had a shred of humility and did any research on how to drive traffic to his YT channel (and subsequently, his livestreams) instead of assuming he knew best, he would have found out that likes and dislikes are treated equally by the algorithm. The same goes for positive and negative comments. "All publicity is good publicity" is not just an aphorism, but quite literally the law of the land.

Phil does realize that everyone can see who clicked LIKE and RETWEET? All he did was to transfer his problems to somewhere else, on the shoulders of his fans who should come out now. Nobody stops the evil trolls to harass his fans somewhere else.
Note: Provided this is actually happening in scales so big that Phil had to seal away any interaction. It does not. He just protects himself from the bad bad baaad loud mouthes who mention his hipocrisy.

I still don't get what phil thinks will be different about his fans quote-tweeting him instead of replying directly to his tweets. Anyone can click on the "quote tweets" button and read all of them.

Still shilling Gamepass so fucking hard.
I don’t think he realizes how absolutely shameless it sounds when someone shoveling in 2-300$ a day is super excited about “how he can play the game without making an investment!”
