I've noticed with guys like this is that they don't seem to ask for help with a financial manager. All the big wigs have them to balance their budget. Now, over 60k subs is a decent audience. You're almost at the 100k mark, and are cultivating a loyal fanbase because they like what you have to say. Consider guys like Alt Hype: he had around Xanderhal's subs, yet he managed to get over 100k views on his videos. Some even hit 200k. He had great audience feedback and people were eager to watch his videos.

Xanderhal should have no issue getting some money in the bank, but if he's spending $900 bucks a month on food - in California no less - he should know how to manage his money. He lives in the state with the highest tax rate. If he's wasting it all on weed, he needs a better dealer. Yet he's broke, no one likes him, and people lost their shit when he used the word 'retard'. He apologized to CopsHateMoe, a non binary YouTuber who wants to chop her tits off, for that word.

I have no idea how Hasan is so popular, but then I remember the people who are on TikTok watch him. All he does is steal content and make poorly made reaction videos. He offers no context aside from what he reads in the news. Rippa at least has principles and he has opinions, and even Cr1tiKal makes his content entertaining. Hasan just leeches, eats chicken nuggets from his mother, and thinks he's starting a revolution.

The term "social fascism" has been getting popular in lefty circles. Basically everybody who is not a revolutionary socialist is a reactionary because they enable a reactionary system.

This idea was popularized in the 1930s. The German left demonized the SPD as fascists and this pushed many leftists to the Nazis or out of politics. This insane idea was abandoned in 1935 for allying with the moderate left to form Popular Fronts. In France this resulted in legislation that is still effect today and in Spain this resulted in the country actually putting up a fight against fascism.

It'll be fun to see this chaos unfold.

"Social fascism" might have been popularized then, but it used earlier, specifically toward men like Kerensky who were viewed by communists as arresting the progress of the revolution with bourgeois democratic norms.

They can decry it all they want, but using the old standard, any 'progress' made toward their glorious revolution has been through democratic politics, not from the barrel of a gun. Orthodox marxism was defeated long ago (I would also argue they conceded the argument in favor of Socialism in One Country).

How many people want to actually create a new platform just for themselves and to grow and how many just want to co-opt platforms for their own gain?

I think some want to co-opt because it allows them to lord over people they disagree with without consent. Its easier to hide in a backalley pub and oversocialize with people who agree with you. Discord's design facilitates this.
I don't think all these computer tech trannies would be transgender or hacking "right wing" websites with the intent of inciting real life harassment if they weren't in daily communication with a group that encourages it. Antifa targets vulnerable people to radicalize and isolates them to their social circle for this very reason.
