IDK…Thus far, the MSM is virtually united in trying to paint him as some kind of strong, virtuous, and brave hero who literally saved the world from a nuclear holocaust provoked by literal hitler blumph. Considering Vindman of all people is calling for him to step down (not much or enough, but still…), my guess is this narrative is doomed to fall apart once the story gains more steam in other circles; much like the “Afghanistan was the greatest success is history…polling indicates a plurality were in favor of leaving” narrative. The goal was to try and pump up the 46 admin and distract from the displeasure surrounding the exit, but once it was clear that that narrative wasn’t sticking despite their best efforts, the media quietly backed away from it.

I can't even tell if they're claiming the falsehood is that she was given the ticket for free, or that she was given it specifically by Conde Nast, or that the normal price is 35k/person. For all I know the truth could be that Conde Nast gave AOC a ticket valued at 35k in exchange for no monetary compensation, but she has to give a speech or something so it's not literally free.
