It really feels like the way the internet (and subsequently the world) evolved is really just down to this fact. I agree with everyone else that you should save your hard-earned :tenbux: but since you asked nicely, you should avoid every politics board, the arts/music/movies boards, and FYAD (which was once very good but is now almost exclusively a bunch of angry losers like C-SPAM). Also, QCS is complete and total AIDS.

The hobby boards are actually okay. Unless something political or ~gender identity~ comes up, Games is fine. SAS was once one of the best sports boards online, and while it's not that anymore, it's also nowhere near the Neanderthal knuckle dragging idiocy you see elsewhere.

The gun, business, and car forums each have a small minority of very good posters and can be well worth following if you're into any of that stuff.
