I apologise if I have misinterpreted you. I think you've confused the words morbidity with mortality.
Morbidity refers to disease states, while mortality refers to death.
So the article is about case numbers, not deaths.
Although having said that, your point is correct as their death rate is going up in a way the UK isn't with their surge of new cases.

I believe the UK was giving under 18s the mRNA vaccines. Under 40s can also now chose them.
I really would like to see more about this. If this isn't some quirk of Israel, there's got to be a lot of data being collected about the vaccines, varients, breakthroughs, efficacy etc.
They're referring to severe illness

Although in general, severe morbidity is flat or only slightly increasing, the country is starting to see a rise in severe infection of individuals who are vaccinated with only two doses and have not yet received a booster shot, researchers from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem showed Monday.
However, the data from the Health Ministry tell a slightly different story.
Each day during the week of August 15 through August 21, there were an average of 299 people hospitalized with serious COVID who had received two shots of the coronavirus vaccine, compared to an average of 171 in the last seven days.
At the same time, the average number of daily unvaccinated serious cases has spiked from 255 to 429.
I don't speak Hebrew (shocking I know) but the amount of fuckery going on with the data collection is incredible.
The 2020-21 outbreak saw hospitalisations peak at about 1800 cases per week.
The Israeli health Ministry, as reported by the Jerusalem Post, is saying there are now 630 cases per day or 4400 cases per week, being admitted to hospital. However when you trawl through some of the third party reporting websites much lower numbers are being given, 1300-1500 cases per week.
Of course they're claiming that most severe illness is in the unvaccinated but this is a provable lie. There simply aren't enough unvaccinated boomers in Israel, only 80,000, to account for so many hospital admissions. It's statistically impossible, especially given that a LOT of the unvaccinated will have refused the jab because they already have natural immunity. Israel gives out their Covid passports to recovered cases, so no need for vaccination if you've already had the coof.
The case mortality rate is still below the previous peak, but given that the Delta variant is at least 10 times less virulent this is not a good sign.
So is this that ADE thing?
It's certainly a strong indication that vaccine enhanced infection of some kind is going on.
Data points to consider-
- They're lying about the numbers. Not telling half truths, swabbing every unvaccinated person who goes through an ED and counting them as ' severe Covid case' if they throw a positive swab, but telling bald faced lies.
- The unvaccinated are a diminishing target for the virus. A huge proportion of the non jabbed will have caught and recovered from Covid and so have proper sterilising immunity. The 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' cannot be real. If the virus was being spread primarily among the non vaxxed they would have reached herd immunity and suppression a long time ago. The unvaccinated who are catching the bug are not getting it from others like them, there simply aren't enough of them who aren't immune, they must be catching it from the vaccinated.
- The case numbers continue to rise even with 2 million plus booster doses and over 80% of adults double jabbed. Combine with the number of recovered cases, in Israel around 30% of the population, this should not be possible even with a virus that is an order of magnitude more infectious than Covid.
So what's going on?
ADE? Maybe, but given the reported collapse in antibody titres with the mRNA vaccines this is extremely unlikely. We wouldn't be seeing this if B-cell recall was present. No B-cell recall no ADE.
Are the vaccines fucking with pre-existing immunity, both recovered immunity and cross reactive immunity gained from exposure to related respiratory viruses? Possible.
Are the vaccines themselves effecting people's immune systems through extra-cellular spike exposure? We know it's getting into the lymphatic system. If that's the case it won't just be spiking Covid we'll be seeing but increasing cancer rates and we're going to have a motherfucker of a flu season this winter.
An "oh shit" strain of Covid will emerge that will completely escape the vaccines. This is 100% inevitable as the vaccines are far too leaky. When it does, and if any of the above are a thing, the vaccinated are going to get absolutely hammered.
