Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I shouldn't be shocked, but I absolutely am that NOBODY has resigned from the Biden administration in the last month.

We've gotten to the point where they don't even need a fall guy anymore.

Authoritarian dictatorships don't need a fall guy either. I wouldn't say the Biden administration is... that, but they both don't need a fall guy for the same reason: they don't care if the public hates them. They don't need the public to like them.

Can't wait to hear what the excuse will be if someone down the line does decide to resign. But then what does it matter, it's not like the Press will do its supposed job.

It's the one thing I admire about Democrats.

Republicans and most normies beg for forgiveness from people that actively hate them and will never accept their apology. Woke activists will say white people need to be shot in the head and then double down on it by accusing you of being the racist.

In a separate farewell note, Olick also said: “Though too often underappreciated by our fellow citizens, I am continually struck by how many millions of Americans sleep in safety every night because so many at DHS do not sleep.” Olick didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The shakeup comes as the Biden administration tries to grapple with the flow of migrants at the southern border. Higgins is a career civil servant and has worked for the federal government for over 20 years whereas Olick was most recently a prominent official at SKDK, the powerful Democratic strategic communications firm. She recently led the firm’s ballot initiative practice.

Employees and senior officials at DHS have also been working non-stop on other crises that their department is taking a lead on including responding to the impacts of Hurricane Ida and helping vet tens of thousands of Afghan refugees who the U.S. evacuated from Kabul in August.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the CJCS calling a foreign counterpart and telling him, "Relax, dude, no one's going to nuke you." That's not treason, it's diplomacy. If we do plan to nuke China, it's strategic deception, but diplomacy is more likely.

What makes it problematic is the context and what that tells us about Milley's mind. Between his childlike acceptance of anti-Trump conspiracy theories and his focus on "white rage" while the security situation in Afghanistan deteriorated, he's clearly not focused on his job and probably subject to manipulation. This doesn't mean a foreign actor is manipulating him, though it's possible. It could be a domestic political or corporate actor, or just the miasma of bad ideas that float around Washington and the executive class generally.

All we can say or sure is that if a Trump loyalist did this in 2016, he and his family would have faced prison time.

Latinos, in my experience as a Californian native, are potato niggers. Sure, they're religious insofar as modern Catholicism goes and do care about their small business ranging from orange seller to lawnmower magnate, but they're not above using free clinics, emergency room care, and stealing SSNs to get the credit to buy their gardening equipment. They're fine with children out of wedlock though, so I wouldn't consider them hardline Catholics.

Thus, the reason while the California welfare state is as large and intractable is because they found a way to game the system as the working poor. They pay just enough taxes to not be total liabilities, but because they are working class, don't really buy into woke ideology, especially when it tries to scramble their language. Still, I don't think it's enough for them to become based because they are post-Vatican II Catholics.

What we have seen that actually repels Leftism is hardline, uncompromising Religion. Remember when Texas passed the heartbeat abortion rule and that got Silicon Valley businesses to freak out enough to consider leaving the state? Or the Taliban? People that completely reject the Left wholesale.
