Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Good, pursue European strategic autonomy. We're sick of spending money defending your toothless continent. As for France in the Pacific, their treatment of indigenous islanders has been atrocious. One thing the entire Pacific region can agree on is that the fucking French are a plague and have blighted every Pacific area that they've touched. For one thing, they set off nukes for testing for a lot longer in the South Pacific than anyone else did, and haven't even attempted any cleanup like America has.

I don't know if that's in the cards for him especially with how he very much doesn't fit the Democratic demographic profile anymore, but he's probably going to run for senator in my opinion. He might even replace Feinstein.

Now that I'm thinking about it I do see him being the VP of a Kamala ticket if the lesson the Democrats are apparently learning from the recall is 'fuck everywhere else, Kalifornia Uber Alles.'

Thanks. Unfortunately they will "react" to it the same way they have reacted to all the other times there has been clear proof the President of the United States has touched an underage girl inappropriately.

They will ignore it and not say anything about it. I haven't seen anyone ask Jen Psaki or Biden or anyone about this creepy behavior.

I'm ashamed to live in a country where the press and others let the President get away with this.

I wonder if that started with the introduction of the income tax or the 17th Amendment that allowed people to vote Senators directly. Used to, we were able to recall Senators if they failed to represent us. Not anymore. If only there was a better system than a representative republic, but even that can only do so much about the fact that those who seek power are more likely to be corrupt the more power they obtain.

Speaking of Senate race, what if we localized the Electoral College for those races to where each county represents an electoral vote? That way, it will be a lot easier (in theory) to count the ballot in a county and every county gets to have a say on who wins that Senate race.

That's been their MO for a while, that's why they've pushed so hard to dismantle the Electoral College. Without that NYC and LA would decide every single presidential election, perpetual Democrat rule, at least in the executive branch.
