Careercow Brandon "Bam" Margera - From Jackass to Lolcow

I can't figure out tik tok for the life of me so no video to post, but I took a couple screenshots.
I was sent this vid; sender's colleague found Bam wandering around Sarasota looking like a fat homeless man, and got an autograph out of him. Had to omit some stuff to keep identities obscured

Never liked this guy. Always like a traditional unfunny highschool douchebag manchild. Regardless I’m not one to wish bad things to happen to people. Although Ill say I prefer bad things happening to Bam instead of anyone else. Wonder when this loser dies, can’t be too long. Poor kid.

Wow, poor Phil and April.

I have no doubt he really did think he raised Bam right. For all I know, he probably did. I'm glad he got that out there in front of Bam like that. The catharsis was worth it if nothing else.

FWIW I really enjoyed "Bam's Mom Says Fuck." back in the day. But I was in my 20s and not smart enough to realize the risks people take with working with corporate shitheads like MTV or TLC. And FWIW, I don't think the Margeras fully knew either.
His brother Jess Margera turned out all right, so I don't think it was their parenting that fucked up Bam, it was the money, fame, and attention for being a total shitface. It would be one thing if he was just a dick to his parents while the cameras are rolling, it's another when you pull that shit 24/7.

He became a pro-skater, when, 15 years old? Once you peak at a certain age you don't really get out of that mentality.

Jesus tapdancing Christ, Bam looks older than his own mother right now. Bam has aged like a hobo while April has hardly aged a day since Viva La Bam. I have no idea how she can manage that with all of the stress she's dealt with.
I know this sounds really gay, or overrated but moms are pretty much super heroes. IDK about you, but whenever I had a problem I'd go running to mom. But I'm an Italian momma's boy, so who knows.

But he's still actually rich, right? He's just acting like a hobo?
I think rich might be stretching it now a days. He was obviously pinning all his hopes on a Jackass Forever payday to keep his lifestyle going.

I think if it wasn’t for Ape and Phil he would be a literal hobo by now, but they’ve managed to keep him from total insolvency.

Celebrities will never be 'poor' in the same conventional way that us plebs are, they can endorse a viagra commercial or some horsecock dildos and that's them back in the black.

Which is why I feel zero sympathy for Bam, he's an abusive piece of shit who looks like someone went back in time and forcefed his mother drink so he came out with foetal alcohol syndrome (look at those fucking downs syndrome eyes in that last pic) and absolutely refuses to get over his manbaby spats with his wife or ex-co-workers. With the tiniest bit of self motivation he could fix all of his problems but he's too retarded to even consider that he's the problem.

There's people tweaked out in a kiddies playpark right now that I feel more respect for than fucking Bam.

My gut instinct is Ape & Phil had mean, hardass parents and overcorrected with way too much freedom for their own kids. They’re not pieces of shit and that’s why Bam’s failures are so painful - their mistakes had a basis in love. But sorry to the Margera clan, it turns out it’s actually NOT good parenting to let your 15-year-old drop out of school for NICHE FAME. (Fill in ‘professional egamer’ if you have too much love for skateboarding to realize how utterly ridiculous this is.) They’re not abusive, but frankly it’s emotional neglect - Bam was never asked or expected to grow up. By anyone. At any point. Eventually? That’s going to get you a grandson with a porridge brain. Not wanting his teenage years to be a battle directly led to his middle age being a fucking tragedy.

Pretty sure Bam's parents were against him dropping out. It's not that easy to control 15-year-olds.
Also consider that when an up and coming skater is making a name for himself in the industry and building hype, companies that want to offer that kid a spot on his team will try to lure them in with fulfilling the skaters’ wet dream:

“Hey bro, I saw your sponsor-me tape you’ve got a sick style I think you would fit in well at Junkie Man Skateboards! We showed your tape to our owner and he’s hyped! Why don’t you come to California for a few weeks and we’ll show you all your favorite spots youve seen in videos! We will send you a greyhound ticket and you can sleep on Washed Up Pro Turned Drug Dealer To The Pro’s couch! It’s gonna be sick!”

Bam was already a fuck by age 15, if his parents said no he would’ve moved to California any way he could have and probably crashed and burned on his own.

you just summed up the history of professional skateboarding in one paragraph

We never met April’s Parents, but Phil’s parents appeared on VLB occasionally, known as “Mom-mom” and “Pop-Pop.”

Pop seemed kinda stable, but Mom seemed just as batshit as Don Vito.

Soo...this just happened

Bam Margera's tough times aren't getting any better ... his wife's asking for custody of their 3-year-old son, but hasn't pulled the trigger on ending the couple's marriage.

According to court records ... Nicole Boyd filed docs Wednesday in Los Angeles seeking full custody of their child, Phoenix Wolf. She's willing to give Bam visitation, but only with a monitor -- whom he can select -- but she must approve.

It's interesting ... you usually see child custody issues attached to a divorce, but Nicole made custody a stand-alone. She did not file a divorce petition to end their 8-year marriage.

It took her long enough to protect her kid from angry drunk manic dad. I didn’t even know you could file for full custody while still being married. Crazy. Her entire identity is being Bam’s wife so I guess she’s going to cling to that no matter what.

Guess this means Bam is out of “rehab” and as fucked up as ever.

Wonder what he did for her to finally pull the trigger on this? Going to bet he got out of “rehab” and isn’t behaving very well.

I had a feeling something like this was coming but I expected the full divorce honestly. Nikki has been posting stuff on IG over the last few weeks that gives the impression that she’s back on the market:

@wmichaeldirect is her brother, as seen on his IG:

(I’m honestly surprised that Bam went to a rally for George Floyd, it seems like the kind of thing that would alienate the kind of people who still stick by Bam’s side. Perhaps the fact that he didn’t say anything about it on his social media shows that he knew that)

The other guy @therealrayluv is obviously not a family member but there’s photos of them together on both their Instagram accounts. Judging by the fact that he’s a legendary Bay Area rapper she seems to have a type.
