Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

So does this mean we aren't all going to have to have breathalyzers installed in our cars, or whatever that deal was? That was in this bill, wasn't it?
Correct, so nothing like that. Just... fuck this has some other long-term implications. This -damns- the Democrats.

Why is it so difficult for a Government to cultivate its People and Country in achieving their greatest potential?

It just seems like what they are doing is such a horrificly massive waste of time, resources and energy...
People people achieving their greatest potential requires people to be intelligent and well-informed.

Governments are deathly afraid of an intelligent and well-informed populace.

Can you feel those norms returning?

France being salty surrender monkeys won't get old.
Might be unrelated but the UK just lost 6% of it's electricity import, causing the price to sky rocket, because one of the main lines/exchanges from FRANCE to the UK caught fire yesterday. Won't be fixed until March 2022.

Coincidence? Or France getting their own back for losing out on both subs and jabs?
Please see above "salty surrender monkeys." Being a passive aggressive like a woman would be the best the French can do.

This just seems like a bad idea. Like, someone in the north Korea military finally played Metal Gear Solid and said "wacky launch platforms are a must."
What needs to be done to get back on track to bring back and uphold American values as a Country and on the World stage?

Is this even achievable?
Yes. Form up communities in real life. I figured the biggest problem is that everyone wants to start a "national" movement all with a single brand name.

Problem is that you get smacked with the media mallet doing something like that. Having dozens of local operations working together in a loose alliance means that the media can't just tar everyone with a broad brush but would have to single out groups one by one.

Never expected a rapper to do anything good but here we are. Causing more trouble than any punk band. For shame!

Abortion in general is going to become more of an issue. Abortion, as a political topic, is one of the big pillars that the left has forced to one side. As Texas shows, the issue is only more hotly debated and was just waiting for a somewhat more tolerant Supreme Court to reignite in full.

The left could, for a time, 'win' the issue and hold their gains. But the harder they tried to hold it without compromise, the more likely it became to backfire. Issues like the absolutely abhorrent Virginia shit even back when it was signed made Roberts uneasy, if brought to the current SCOTUS it'd see some rather unpleasant effects IF they brought it on.

It's a good thing the left hasn't been doing anything to piss off and make hostile SCOTUS... oh.
Lets also not discount the fact that the Right has, finally, started to learn their own Persuasion and Narrative construction stuff. A combination of Scott Adams making people aware, meme culture basically making mocking and pointing out the absurdity in lefty talking points a fun counterculture game, and the GOPe (Uniparty Moles) losing influence on the party. No more "losing with dignity" or "admitting the left has a point" or what have you.

To wit: "Heartbeat" bills are a killshot to Abortion. They're something that's easily detectable, easily understood by everyone, and from a persuasion standpoint in people's minds it stops being a fetus and starts being a baby once it has a heartbeat. Terminating a fetus is acceptable to enough people that it's still legal. Killing a baby is not accepted in the same way.

The pendulum, as it were, has started swinging back on murdering babies because they're inconvenient to their whore mothers, and I eagerly await seeing where this goes. It's still radioactive to suggest women getting illegal abortions get punished, and I think that's the next sacred cow of the left to fall. "Why wouldn't a murderer be punished? She didn't terminate a fetus she killed her child."

Prepare for different avenues to try to pass it, like pressuring Manchin through media attack dogs.

Probably won't work since he hasn't nuked the filibuster yet.
They have already pressured him from every avenue they could on everything. The Voting Rights Bill was a thing, the thing that'd ensure single-party rule forever. They would have pulled out every possible stop they -had- on that one. And it failed.

I have seen Twatterati haw-hawing at people for "doing their own research", and the usual bullshit about horse paste or pool cleaner.

All those years of proclaiming themselves to be "free-thinkers" and "skeptics" have been ditched, now that free thinking and skepticism are directed at themselves and their masters.

No, being able to launch from mobile platforms on rail lines is a great thing. We developed the same thing, so did the Russians and, I think, maybe the Brits/French. Mobile platforms are a far more elusive target than silos or other stationary platforms.

Joe Manchin himself is a Democrat, yes? And this boiled down to his support? Really odd, I thought they were tribalist team players like the voter base. Are the establishment Democrats also infighting?

It's not like the Shagohod, where troll physics make the ICBM go faster because the platform goes zoom on fhe ground.
