Changing a life style for most people is usually a harder change with more consequences, but ultimately something that had to be done and hopefully builds character. It's scary & exciting, but ultimately a phase many people go through and consider it as such.

To Alyssa, it is death and rebirth. She's shedding her deadname, her previous job, her hair, and her attachment to the cis world. This is the most DRAMATIC thing right now because that's how you see shit when you have bpd.
