I have made this thread before but im being serious this time i noticed that this site constantly hovers almost more than 2k users! There is a lot of lurkers (potential members) and we are well on our way to 4k users.

Every thread you make gets like 9 views in a couple of minutes now. Threads move at a readable speed and I have noticed if your not counting the major lolcows it just feels like this site is really chill not sure if the data backs it up but can anyone else relate to this? Getting the .net domain up has really fixed the issue

pour one out in celebration of kiwifarms.

How do you think this site will go?
best case scenario I think Null eventually gets too old to keep it up and retires in a few decades, with his successor not being nearly as invested in keeping the site up and eventually caving either to an increasingly-busy personal life or one too many takedowns

worst case scenario the internet becomes so heavily censored and restrictive on speech that the farms is forcibly and permanently decommissioned by some omnipresent governmental body that cannot be stopped whatsoever

there's always the in-between scenarios that don't fit either of these labels, but I'm leaving them out for brevity's sake
I think an interesting one that's on the more likely end of the spectrum of occurrence is that the world outside the web simply gets shitty enough for most farmers to either have much higher priorities and no time to post or not have the resources to be able to post at all

Personally I'm leaning on option 3 as I do believe whether we get back on track or not, civilization will all just collapse once the gen Xers die out.
