James Cage White (born October 15, 1984; real name: Cheng Xi; graduated from Sichuan International Studies University as a Bachelor in English) is a 38-year-old man from Chongqing, China. He first rose to moderate fame on Vine, where he has gathered 441 000 followers by badly speaking English, while showcasing mundane things from his life, singing or, sometimes, expressing an interest in meeting a white woman. That’s where a part of his name actually comes from: “James” from James Bond; “Cage” from Nicholas Cage and “White” from… white women.

James' inability to find a girlfriend has become a very commonly brought up topic in his videos and tweets. (archive) He would often broadcast his intention to marry a white woman to his fanbase.

Despite being nearly forty years old, James is dependent on his mother to the point of requiring her to find jobs as well as potential partners for him (both of these will be elaborated on later). Everything he does seems to have some supervision by his mother, down to doctor appointments. Bear in mind, she is simultaneously taking care of James' father who is actively dying due to medical complications.

James has mentioned that his mother was physically abusive towards him while growing up. In fact, this strict form of discipline has seemingly continued even as he entered adulthood.


With the shutdown of Vine, James continued his pursuit of fame entirely on Twitter. Not having to limit himself to the video format meant he could air out all his thoughts instantly in text form, which he hasn’t stopped doing for the last nine years. His short-lived stint as a Vine creator left him with an impression that if he just kept doing the same things that got him views in 2014, he’d be destined to find success. And destiny does eventually start to play the leading role in James’ outlook on life.


One thing James falls back on to escape responsibility is, as he puts it, “fate”. According to James’ worldview, every person exists within the confines of their predetermined path. Any accomplishments, misfortunes and personal choices are merely imprinted on you by circumstance.


Yes, James talks about wanting to buy all sorts of products daily. Very often it’s Steam games that he has no interest in actually playing. With the exclusion of, maybe, Witcher 3, which he would play on his Twitch stream in cinematic 2 frames per second and with little to no commentary. That is because he will take any shot at an internet carrier, no matter how unlikely it is to pan out, rather than get a real job.

However, in 2017, James began working at an Office Job that (surprise surprise) his mother also found for him. He claimed to earn a monthly salary of $600 a month at the time, approximately $7,000 a year. Surprisingly, he was able to keep it for four years until he was laid off just this April. While the company claimed to simply not need him anymore, it's also worth pointing out that he filled his work computer with personal files and publicly showed himself playing games like Dwarf Fortress while on the clock, as well as touching his colleagues' personal belongings.

He also, at one point, made a makeshift bed so he could sleep there, so it’s, honestly, a miracle he held the job for so long to begin with.


So, being such an enviable man, he somehow didn’t secure a girlfriend when he appeared on television in a dating show. Note that he brought his mom. It really is worth seeing for yourself (the version I embedded has English subtitles).

In the absence of a girlfriend, James has become addicted to porn. By his own admission, this addiction led to him either becoming unable to maintain an erection. He has undergone treatment in a clinic. James has sworn to abstain from watching pornography or anything even slightly sexual.


Surprisingly, in April of 2021 James publicly announced that he had finally found a girlfriend. People had their doubts, until he posted photos proving that she did, in fact, exist. This was actually seen as worth celebration on Twitter due to his reputation as a virgin, with his announcement getting over 100,000 likes. Before long, the couple could be seen traveling around Asia, with her even fulfilling his maternal needs by paying for his XBox game pass.


But... things weren't as they seemed. Less than three months after they began dating, James then announced that he'd proposed to her and the two were in the process of getting married. As it turns out, he'd met her as part of an arranged marriage program his mother had signed him up for, And this wasn't his first attempt at the service either, tweeting previously that he'd spent over a thousand dollars on another marriage arrangement company to try dating eighteen different girls, all of whom rejected him. The father of the bride was given 10 000$ as a bribe and was fed lies about James having an income. In the wedding photos, James can be seen hover-handing his wife.


Immediately after marriage, the couple conceived a child in the only sex act James had and will ever have. After that, James seemingly never had any intimate contact with his wife, being left to sleep on the couch, masturbate by himself and kiss his wife’s picture.


The baby doesn’t have a crib and sleeps in bed with it’s mother, exposing it to the risk of being suffocated. “Peter” or “Charles” also received a haircut at two months old. James does not, generally, tend to his child’s needs, shy of occasionally blow-drying his son’s diapers.

James drew the ire of the LGBT community when he responded to a question about what he would do, if his child turned out gay. That resulted in his TeeSpring account, where he was selling his t-shirts, being blocked.

This was a big deal to him, as he made a substantial amount of income from his "novelty" designs (read: ironic purchases), which, James stated, helped pay for his father's medical bills. The only way James is making money at this point in time is through PayPal donations.
