Preface: I don't care about Tate. I only followed this case for a few weeks over a year ago. I don't respect him because he's a loudmouthed pimp who admitted on camera to getting underage girls involved in his business, so I sure as hell am not defending him.

That being said, I keep hearing the words "sex trafficking" and "rapist" (Null uses them a lot on his MATI podcast) and I'm wondering if there's any tangible evidence of that. Last time I checked, he was still in jail on Romania based on an accusation made by some woman who was a proven liar. Why was he in jail and under house arrest for so long if this is supposedly such a clear-cut case?

Again, I'm not up to date with all this hubbub.

Andrew and Tristan both used the loverboy method to coerce women to do onlyfans for them. This is textbook trafficking. They manipulate them and make them dependant on them.

Anyway, just skimming through the Telegram leaks on Substack is enough to make me dislike those guys even more. EVEN IF what they're doing is 100% legal, which probably still isn't the case.

He's constantly reminding people that his is, in fact, black. He puts on this big tough guy façade and then calls a girl ugly when her dad hurts his feelings. He keeps telling people how big and tough and alpha he is and then posts shit like the sauna pic that got torn to shreds. Whereas WoahVicky has some entertainment value with the sheer absurdity of her act, Andrew Tate is just pathetic. He's so obviously overcompensating for something by acting this caricature of violent masculinity.

In black communities openly saying that you're mixed carries a strong implication that you code-switch or don't respect your black heritage. You're either black or you're not, no such thing as "half-way crooks". Kind of similar to how some people identify themselves as native, even if their native genetics could be counted in a single digit percentage wise.

Also, being (or acting) black carries a certain kind of machismo whiteness doesn't. A stereotypical white person is a white collar worker, that works a safe, but soul crushing office job that emasculates them into utter wimps to authority and any sort of danger, while a stereotypical black or latino person by contrast has been in the "trenches" so to speak, which carries a certain kind of alure. American society seems to be stuck in this sort of cognitive dissonance where crime (particularly done by minorities) is heavily vilified, but at the same time you have multiple hour long documentaries on serial killers and drug lords, and even entire movies or tv shows like the Godfather, Scarface, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc. that are considered the absolute pinnacle of American cinema. I think Tate taps into that allure, it's hard to picture him doing any sort of white collar work, because he'd get fired without a full day passing for calling his boss a faggot. Many people can only dream of being able to do that.

UK prosecutors say 21 charges authorised against Tate brothers​

Prosecutors in the UK have confirmed for the first time they have authorised 21 charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

The Crown Prosecution Service said that it had authorised the charges against the brothers before an extradition warrant was issued in 2024 to bring them back from Romania.

The two Britons are under investigation in Romania, facing a number of charges, which they deny - and the CPS said "the domestic criminal matters in Romania must be settled first."

The CPS's charging decision came after it received a file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police about allegations made in the UK.
The CPS said Andrew Tate, a 38-year-old influencer and former kickboxer, faces 10 charges connected to three alleged victims, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.

Tristan Tate, 36, faces 11 charges connected to one alleged victim, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.
