Definitely give me the vibe of pseudo-sentient npcs like they've broken free from their master but not their programming. I feel like in certain sense that makes it worse for phil they never go "That disgusting fucking troon" or "That rotten pervert" or even just "he". It's conducted like an autopsy and while I don't think people like phil are due respect it does have the funny effect that all phil can say is, "They care too much about the thing I get paid to write about, isn't that creepy! they are analyzing my journalistic output and drawing conclusions I don't like"

I've said this in another thread, but these troons don't realize that the resounding silence they lament is the polite reaction. People don't want them in their spaces, because they're annoying creepy perverts who make everyone uncomfortable, but because liberals still have residual guilt about Brave Oppressed Trans Women (or just don't want to be canceled) they don't come out and say that. They just do the online equivalent of nodding and smiling politely and saying "you were driven out of VTubing? oh man that sucks" and then never mentioning the subject again.

The realistic alternative to this silence isn't acceptance and advocacy, it's someone finally snapping and saying "Oh my god no one cares you gross fucking freak"

Apologies for double post but I'm jumping in to second this; that video is actually really great. They look weird and I didn't exactly agree with everything, but the hosts were great at putting together arguments and angles you don't really see elsewhere.

Although, I did laugh out loud when they were talking about how so many troons are just longing for acceptance, and the man said something like "they don't realize that the only place they can really find acceptance is..."

...and I was waiting for them to say "within themselves", but then he said "the Tech Right."

Katie fucking hates Phil, purely down to his rape fantasies. 40 mins of shitting on him in a fairly entertaining way. The best bit was towards the end though when they remaked on how pathetic it was that waypoint took down several of Phil's articles just because Kirsche wrote a strongly worded letter. The absolute contempt really came through when they both said if Phil was a real journalist he wouldn't have folded.

No the first time Katie heard about Phil (who lets be honest is a no one) it was when Jesse played Phils reading his story about trannies raping cis women. Jesse did it for laughes but Katie was genuinely disgusted.

My advice? The ENVTubing community should maintain a professional and friendly environment as more strangers stop by to see what’s up. When in doubt, be good representatives for the space. If you think a VTuber is behaving poorly in front of normies, say so. It’s a great way to reinforce the positives about VTubing — and distance yourself from the bad actors trying to stir up trouble.
