Petition - Ban @Storytime from general chat?

EDIT: This thread is now unnecessary because @Storytime is banned. :story:

Multiple users have expressed extreme dissatisfaction with @Storytime’s posting habits in the chat, but they technically haven’t done anything wrong. I feel like a bit of mob rule is in order here. In the interests of objectivity, I will present a couple arguments both in favor and against banning Storytime from the chat.

Arguments in favor:
1: Storytime’s behavior often derails conversations in general chat.
2: multiple gen chat regulars feel like Storytime’s presence detracts from the chat.

Arguments against:
1: Storytime’s behavior, while not liked by the majority of chat users, isn’t breaking any rules
2: Free speech is important and should be extended to all users.

Thoughts?

I vote ban. Not for any real reason, I just like to irresponsibly wield power whenever given the opportunity.

Years ago when they wanted a new Thunderdome mod, I applied on the promise of banning literally everyone, and if I have to do it like this I will!

Sorry Storytime, its nothing personal, I'm just trying to go on a power trip.

The nature of chat makes it hard to provide evidence, but I did find something in another mass debates thread directly related to chat. I will provide more as it becomes available.

Chat is usually pretty gay anyway, how much worse can this guy be making it?

Unless they are actively disrupting chat by spamming, posting cheese pizza or other degeneracy etc. I say let em all speak.

I vote no on the grounds of free speech, the rock this site was built upon.

I think Storytime is very funny in an unintentional way, and I love making fun of him, that being said, I understand why certain users want him chatbanned. I personally disagree but I do want to see him sperg about being banned from Chat.

Not to mention, Storytime is infamous in the soysphere... mainly with members of Soyjak Blog and /qa/, xhe is most well known by the name of "Terrycrews"
and to make matters worse, the whore kept questioning about my fetishes, although I was fine with it for a bit, now im not because other people began feeling umcomfortable about it and Terry is just not a good person at all, I hope xhe dies

not only I want Storytime banned from general chat, but I want xer full account banned too because xhe is a fetish stalker... and a fucking freak
