i absolutely get it. they are trying to expand their audience and vtuber fans are cash cows historically. i've seen clips of kirsche before she seems alright (aside from that one thing)

Apparently it's to test the streaming servers. I think they said in the investor stream that they're handling the video streams themselves now and they need to test to see if the new solution can handle the load.
You need a pass to watch the cameras because it's between 10 pm and 10 am, so they're basically asking for 10 bucks so people can watch empty feeds. There's currently roughly 90 people doing that so it's also not really a good test. The investor stream already had some issues and that was only one camera so that doesn't exactly bode well.

I don't know if this means anything, probably not since everything is disabled until the show starts, but I really hope there's no AI SFX this season. AI noise slop is such a detriment to the viewing experience 99% of the time.

My Season 4 Wishlist:
Section off the s3 house to make it smaller.
Line the ceiling with sound deadening panels.
Re-Mic the rooms with more microphones.
Keep the contestants active with small challenges every 2-3 hours that award fishbucks.
Lots of individual secret missions given to fish.
NO FUCKING VOTING, Tell the fish ahead of time that elimination depends on how interesting you are and not voting or challenges.
Gag Fatty if he is to be involved at all.
