Man accused of vandalizing East Providence Pride crosswalk​

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police arrested a man accused of intentionally vandalizing a Pride crosswalk in East Providence over the weekend.

The 40-year-old man was taken into custody Sunday night after he was spotted by an officer skidding across the Taunton Avenue crosswalk.

East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva told 12 News the city plans to remove the skid mark from the crosswalk by the end of the week.

“There was no need for this,” DaSilva said, adding that he hopes the man will “think about what he did and change his attitude.”

The rainbow crosswalk is painted to resemble the Pride flag and serves as a symbol of support for LGBTQ+ residents and visitors, according to DaSilva.

The man pleaded not guilty Monday to misdemeanor vandalism and was released on $2,000 personal recognizance. His next court date is slated for July 8.

There's no need for flags on the road, yet here we are. There's going to be skid marks on the road because of cars, intentionally or not.

To them it’s a holy symbol, to intentionally defile it is basically blasphemy despite it literally being on top of the road where cars drive. They’re not exactly great at logic.

Kershaw is going viral on social media after appearing to wear a hat with a Bible passage written on the front during the organization’s Pride Night celebration.

Kershaw wore a Dodgers hat with a rainbow-colored team logo during Friday’s game against the San Francisco Giants.

Screenshots of the broadcast shared on social media showed that the message “Gen 9:12-16” was also written on the front, seemingly in reference to Genesis 9:12-16.

This isn’t the first time Kershaw has put up resistance to having faggotry rammed down professional baseball’s throat:
Kershaw notably protested the organization’s decision in 2023 to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence before the team’s Pride Night game that season. The three-time Cy Young Award winner said his opposition was based solely on the group’s mockery of Christianity.

Actually, it was the Progress Pride Flag, which augments devotion to depraved debauchery with extra colors representing transsexual sickness and Critical Race Theory (i.e., anti-white race hate).

If it were up to the sort of liberal establishmentarians who run every MLB team except the Texas Rangers, this is what Americans would salute in place of Old Glory:

Curious, I looked up "flag burning." That consists as "freedom of speech". But, this is considered punishable to the fullest extent.
