Not going to label myself as a Metokur fan, because that’s gay.

But I think there have been some ok streams (Nick and Ralph). At this point though I usually skip them.

This Kirsche one wasn’t bad, but it felt like a Discord call with an e-girl. The type that is your friend, but you start to adjust your tone and mannerisms because she’s a chick. Borderline simpy or flirty.

I didn’t listen to the Pippa stream from way back but I’m curious if he had a similar tone with her.

In my case I guess you could say it’s recency bias because I didn’t even know who Jim was until 2022 and my love for his work didn’t take off until 2023 into 2024. His first stream after his “retirement stream” was intended to be a one-and-done deal to help pay for medical bills but after that it’s obvious he continued doing it because he likes what he does and his health has improved significantly.

His Rekieta stream was amazing and his commentary on more mainstream lolcows and politics are great.

And for those that say “OH THE CANCER IS FAKE,” I point this to you.

I think it's possible to engage with anime in a healthy way that isn't pedophilic, but I however do not believe this to be possible with vtubers. Vtuber fans are all, blanket statement, either into kids, porn addicts who are also into kids, or just sad lonely porn addicts

Why not just judge people on their actions that they've actually taken, and not a string of words spoken in a career where they stream for hours every day? That seems the heccing logical thing to do.
