Some were wrong, some were right. The wrong stuff was based on early sightings, the right based on what his representation said, but it was known to be a grill pretty early on.

I know you wanna pick and choose so you can build your scary world narrative but you need to be more media literate beyond whatever anti mockingbird mockingbird shit you read.
