I think the reason why sharty users celebrated the 4chan hack, and maybe the reason why the hack happened in the first place, was because of jealousy. Let's face it, 4chan is currently in its twilight years and it's doing a lot better than the Sharty right now, despite the fact that it is practically still in its formative years.

Up until GamerGate, or debatably the 2016 election, 4chan pretty much remained a top sekrit club that retained its culture rather well. Soyjaks became the number one topic on Twitter within 2 years of the Sharty being created. A striking amount of soyteens are incapable of keeping their precious culture to themselves, but I shouldn't be telling you this.

What's my point? QRD? Despite its problems, 4chan in its current state is actually usable, especially if you have niche, or rather autistic interests. The sharty lost.
I'm still glad the hack occurred the hack because it convinced jannies that no one liked the 15 minute post delay.
