People are still ruffled about Tim Heidecker? I'd be more pissed about the executors like the Adult Swim staff than the possible snitch. World Peace was a hit with Mike Lazzo, and it was sabotaged by the AS Staff in Atlanta and political rivals. Mike Lazzo stepping down after this affair is indicative of foul play from the top. Show was both somehow a huge success for Airings but also the most controversial thing evar (online).

Sam himself fucked over his crew with all the politisperging during 2016, shit like "when Trump wins we're gonna need a lot of rope." On a graphic isn't very good when it comes to Turner and Adult Swim. Sam's ego and his poor choice of wiggers has been the thing that keeps biting him. Charls Caroll was right about him. It's shitty to be BLACKLISTED but let's not pretend it didn't happen for no reason. And there were probably plenty of dipshits who further betrayed them in their inner circle.

And it's time people realize that the others involved with MDE made it greater than just Sam Hyde. Sam Hyde has to be tard wrangled or George Lucas'd to result with a quality product.

I didn't even know An Inconvenient Anime and 2070 Paradigm Shift was entirely written/scripted/influenced by someone else until James Price revealed it.

So I watched WP for the first time before I watched EP because I had never actually at and watched the episodes themselves and wanted to be able to properly compare the two. I had probably already watched about 3/4 of the sketches already but I had never seen any of the graphics before. Watching it in its intended form really showed why WP was so highly regarded. Everything from the graphics to the editing and cinematography to the music were all top notch. It's probably the best sketch show I've ever watched. Even beyond the comedy of the show, sketches like the Nick Teacher sketch or The Man Who Would Never Be, What They Made Him To Be are genuine works of art that ascend past just being a sketch comedy show. All of the political commentary in the show doesn’t fell dated either. A lot of the graphics or sketches about women like The Wall feel really ahead of their time, especially for a show on network TV. There's even a graphic talking about coding being outsourced to Indians which has only really become a talking point in the past 2-3 years.

What immediately struck me about EP was the decline in quality of the directing, cinematography, and editing. The entire show has that soulless look that a lot of modern movie have because of digital cameras white low depth of field and washed out color grading. There's dozens of video you can watch on Youtube about why all modern movies look the same. For how much Sam talks about how modern art is soulless you'd think he's know better. I think that one of the fundamental problems with EP is that Alex Schultz is just not as talented of a director as Andy Ruse. Schultz isn't bad director and EP isn't poorly directed. However, it is clearly a step down from WP. The shot compositions and camera movement are just not as interesting as in WP. The editing for EP isn't bad either however, it again is just not as interesting as WP. Trapped is a phenomenal editor and anyone who's see his documentaries knows how good he is. While I get that they probably couldn't get Ruse back because he is in LA directing music videos Trapped isn't doing any editing right now so I have to wonder if they could have repaired the bridge with him for EP.

The music was another part of the show that felt very lacking. All of the music was very forgettable compared to WP. There was nothing on the level of Zachary Waltman, Brian Ellis, James Price, or Glue70 in the EP soundtrack. While I'm sure that the Ruse and Trapped bridges are burnt, I feel like at least some of the people who did music for WP would have been willing to come back. The liscensed music was also way worse in EP. They went from John Maus and The Soft Moon to Riff Raff.

I also felt like the graphics and bumpers were no were near as good as in WP. The bumpers that aren't animated or generic hip hop graphics look nice but are just random words and phrases that lack the depth of the ones from WP. While they looked nice, they felt empty and lacked the subliminality of the old graphics. The animations they had looked good but felt like they should have been part of a different show. Also, while I understand that they're an iconic part of the show, I have to question why there even are bumpers if there aren't any commercials for the graphics to serve as bumpers.

One of the big problems that show has is that it's simply too long. WP episodes were only 11 minutes long but for some reason they made the baffling decision to make the episodes 30 minuets each. There is so much in the show that could have been cut out. Most of the sketches didn't need to be multiple parts and most of my favorite sketches were the ones that were one part. There was absolute no reason why the Daddy Dom sketch needed to be in three episodes. The Charls prom sketch should have cut out Nick and Sam's bits. They also really should have cut out all of the fourth wall breaking (which I will get more into). There were also way too many Craigslist actor game show sketches in general. The show just would have been much better if they trimmed it down to only the good bits. In general, most of my least favorite sketches were the Sam focused ones.

As other people in this thread have already mentioned, there was way too much fourth wall breaking in the show. There were way too many scenes of them breaking character for my taste. The scenes of them berating the actors would often feel very bitter. There were a couple of scenes in WP like the talent show or The Wall sketch were they would make fun of the contestants but those didn't fell as bitter. The only funny fourth wall break they should have kept in was when the light almost fell on that actress. There were also a couple of moments that felt extremely self indulgent like the ending to episode 1. It's all stuff that should have just been cut.

I think that one of the big problem with EP was that most of the political commentary fell flat. WP was really cutting edge compared to EP which doesn't feel anywhere near as subversive as WP. I think that WP being on Adult Swim forced them to be more subtle with the political commentary which made it more effective in my opinion. There are a couple of different sketches in EP about opioids and the pharmaceutical industry but none of them are as subtle and effective as the Charls Gym Zone sketch. There were a lot of sketches which didn't really have any punchline besides just repeating basic /pol/tard talking points. For example the candy news sketch didn't really feel like it had any sort of punchline. It was Sam just doing a Jew impression while dressed like a Candy Land character. Horny Family Feud didn't really have a puncline besides Sam just being in blackface. As an aside, I've seen the joke about Family purposely having suggestive questions for years on /tv/ Just just search "penis Steve' on 4plebs and you'll see what i'm talking about.

A lot of the sketches that are sequels to WP sketches are not as good the originals. While funny, the CEO Erick sketches miss what made the original so good. They lack the oppressive, Lynchian atmosphere of the original sketch. I think that porbably has less to do with the writin and more to with the inferior editing and directing of WP. The Peanut Arbuckle sketch was kind of funny but definitley not as good as the original.

I think that one of the big things that EP is missing is the more poignant sketches like Future Peace or The Man Who Would Not Be Who They Wanted him to be. The Charls Prom sketch kind of felt like it was leading to something like that but it just ended up being a Charls humiliation ritual. Effina's bogged face was also very distracting in that sketch. The Nick Thanksgiving sketch was the only sketch like that and it was by far the best sketch in the show. Knowing that Nick's wife actual had a miscarriage makes it far more impactful. That sketch, while it did not redeem the show in my eyes, did leave with me feeling more satisfied with the show ending.

I've heard people suggest that since the last two episodes were the best ones and that they were shot last that their future shows might better since they world be more used to writing a sketch show. I'm not sure if that will be the case because the other aspects I criticized like the music, directing, the graphics, and the editing didn't see to get better. While that Nick sketch was amazing, I'm not sure re that something that personal can be replicated that easily. Overall I would rate a Extreme Peace a 6.5 out of 10. It was not terrible but it was clearly a step down from World Peace.

Sam is talented, has a lot of money, and has a sizable audience. Sam is sober and fit, Ethan is obviously neither. They both hate Jews and they both like them young, but I think Sam is the only one who fucked/got fucked by a tranny. I really don't see the connection. Tbh I don't think you can really compare Sam to anyone now.

Sam Hyde is singular. He is the only man that could have built that gorilla nest.

Is Sam Hyde a government asset? You always have to wonder with a guy who is willing to platform that spic fag. If Sam doesn't press him about Jan 6th then it's game over. You can't even respect for holding strong beliefs.

Two guys with questionable offscreen sex lives who each would've had successful careers if they could've bottled the antisemitism. I suppose I'm curious if it will be 60 minutes about Jews or if they'll avoid that altogether

Do none of you guys know who Sam is? He's already collaborated with Nick multiple times.
I swear some of you guys are bot accounts...
