The likely Missouri thing if something is hanging them up is somebody saying "its not a crime to be an asshole", and getting so fixated on that part they ignore the extortion attempts. I wish we could see the instructions and pre-trial motions so we knew if they can convict on misdemeanors or not. It's slightly possible he walks if the they only had the felonies and just didn't think it was bad enough.

A jury of 12 has unanimously determined Dave Muscato to be GUILTY on both counts of harassment :woo:
 
Imagine the sigh of relief both parents at hearing those words and knowing that they won't have to deal with this bullshit ever again.

They are probably going to conceive Dave 2.0 tonight.
 
Let me guess. Dave's appealing because it wasn't a jury of his peers - none of the 12 jurors was a troon.

Muscato looked very tense and sat up straight when the judge announced the verdict, whereas before he was slouching for most the trial and had a vacant expression. No outbursts or anything of the sort though.

I confirmed that the theft charge was dropped at some point leading up to the trial. I assume they just didn't have the evidence for it.

I think it'll be this, or that his lawyer talked him out of testifying so he never got to give his side of the story. Refusing to testify doesn't seem like a decision Dave would make given how delusionally he views himself. Betting his attorney begged him not to take the stand.

If I were a juror who had to listen to Dave on the stand, I'd immediately find him guilty and sentence him to death.
