Bianca Halif AKA Kisu, singer of the band Super Moonies, the band that did the soundtrack to the original German version of the Sailor Moon anime, died at the age of 47 on July 30th.
Damn, i remember her. Can't be understated how big SM was in Germany, it's pretty much the show that started the anime craze here. The intro song by Kisu was iconic, just listened to it on YT for the first time since elementary school and i still remembered the lyrics perfectly.

Edit: And i remembered somewhat wrong because a different girl actually sang the intro. I do remember the Super Moonies and Kisu too, though. Clicked the link and saw that fucking Tuxedo Mask and it all came back :story:

RIP to one of the greatest designers in fashion.

Remarkably, when he founded his company, Armani was already 40 years old.
Goes to show you that it's never too late to follow your dreams.

As the old saying goes, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is today."

I might spritz on some Acqua Di Gio in memoriam of Il Signor Armani.

Didn't even know the dude was alive
Kinda assumed he lived between like 1850 and 1950 or something

Like coco chanel or enzo ferrari

It was said Armani designed clothes for a man's wife, and Versace designed clothes for the man's mistress.

I wonder who will take the reins at Armani now?

Bought a pair of Armani jeans for a ridiculous price of 200€ in the early 00's and it's still the best cut of pants i ever wore, absolute magic. RIP.

Man, what an apt statement. While i used to love and wear Versace clothing in the past i always found Gianni's couture to be much more ostentatious, if not outright tacky at times, compared to Armani stuff.

His clothes were very sexy, but after he was murdered and his sister Donatella took over, the brand went downhill, IMHO.

She has finally stepped down and someone new is the designer.

They both lived long enough to see a man land on the moon, and Enzo was around well into the life cycle of the space shuttle program.
Both provided Axis assistance during WW2.
Someone with pronouns in bio and stinking of curry I'm sure.
Probably his niece, since the dude quite obviously never had any kids himself.

Donatella fucked up the brand as much as she fucked up her own face with plastic surgery, it's a shame. Because of her the only things Versace i still like these days are the fragrances.
