Ken Dryden, the legendary Hall of Fame goalie for the Montreal Canadiens during the 1970s, passed away last night at the age of 78 from cancer.

There was another pretty notable death last night in the world of sports:

Long time baseball player and manager Davey Johnson passed away at the age of 82.

As a player he won a pair of World Series championships with the Baltimore Orioles, as well as being a four-time All-Star and a three-time Gold Glove award winner.

As a manager he won the World Series with the '86 New York Mets, and won a pair of Manager of the Year awards. He's 33rd all-time in wins, and has the 10th best winning percentage for those who won 1000+ games.

Dan Runte, now former driver of the Bigfoot monster trucks and all around good guy, got hit by a vehicle while riding his Harley.

RIP to a good one. May the driver of the car who hit him be run over some day soon by a monster truck with some of Bigfoot's DNA. In an arena. Live. On pay-per-view. To a cheering crowd. And fireworks. And the national anthem.
