Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Political violence is the natural state of things. We've gone a long time recently in sort of a honeymoon period where entertainment and the appearance of democracy kept things pretty calm compared to centuries past, but it's an unnatural thing for there to be so little political violence in the west. I expect far more of this, people are mad beyond thinking voting or protesting is actually going to change anything. Kirk was a bit of a retard but a decent person nonetheless, so it is a shame that someone killed him, but entirely expected in my opinion.

Honestly I just see people like this, as too weak to accept how quick things actually can end. Not saying life is pointless, but it's not this grand bullshit people make up to deal with the reality, bad shit happens, and a lot of the time there really is no good reason. It lessens the blow if it's some fake psyop, or it's actually a grand conspiracy behind it, because at least then it isn't chaos, meaningless violence, and cruelty. It's something with a higher meaning and direction. But no unfortunately life is just like this, it can be ended by one deranged person, or some retarded driver that does something without thinking about their surroundings.

Quite. But for the range that is assumed, I'd place my money on something in the .308/6.5 camp. And I know you didn't say that, but I'm seeing the assumption thrown around, so I addressed it in a different line. Either way, it's a terrific shot if the reporting of the position of the shooter is true. That's not your run-of-the-mill retard like the guy who took a shot at Trump.

Going through this thread is such a pain in the ass, i caught it while it was happening yesterday night and decided to wait until now to go through the highlights. Those, too, are full of sperging but i get the occasional bit of information. I agree with people who have been saying there needs to be a separate thread for sperging.

What goes through people's heads who go in here just to say "holy shit"? Are these people young and don't know how forums work, think everything with a text field is a comment section?

Is there a way to only go through the blue highlights and not the ones sparked by tons of reactions?
