Fuckin' Mormons of all people. I know aspect of their religion are weird, but who's isn't? IMO opinion, as people they are so welcoming and welcome all kinds. Especially those who seem to be in dire need.

}Slight powerlevel, but when I was going through a major health scare, I was approached by a group of Mormons on the street (who could see me how visibly upset I was) and they comforted me and were just so genuinely kind. I even attended a few of their services. They would call almost everyday to check in on me. If it wasn't for that kindness I don't think I would have eventually sought out the medical help I needed that would ultimately saved my life.

I didn't stick with the church but I'm eternally grateful for the kindness and support I got from these complete strangers. Not all religion is bad (or I guess not all religious people are bad). If their goal is to save those in need need, they certainly accomplished that with me.

Yep, that's what I am doing. But I understand that being apolitical makes people uncomfortable, challenging their us vs them mentality. People want the world to fight into their mental box, but in reality, this isn't how it works nor how it should.

Long story short. There's a lot of evidence that there's no political motivation, but personal grievances. Guy seemed to have some real bad blood with that church altogether. His motives are more likely on-par with the Parkland shooter. Personal grudges, perceived ostrisization.

At this point I can only help but wonder why a shooter at a church is not riddled with holes before he can kill more than two or three people at the most. I know the answer is cucked gun laws, of course, how ever it also begs the question as to why gun owners are allowing their rights to be taken to begin with. On an only slightly related note; Is death truly more comfortable than war against those who would see you dead or enslaved?
