I'm gonna do something nobody in this thread even dared to do. I actually read Bruno's piece of shit manifesto
TL;DR (Since it got featured):
Our dear user
@BrunoMattei is a massive fucking nutcase. Here's the things you can find out about Bruno from this manifesto:
- Bruno's extremely egotistical view of himself as a "tortured genius" while being a retarded pseudo-intellectual
- He attempted to kill his older sister when he was 6 years old in the pool
- This said sister then framed him for killing a family dog while in reality it was her fault (at least according to Bruno)
- Feeding roaches in his room with his vomit
- Every time Bruno sees a happy family with a child holding hands together while walking, he internally thinks about a picture of a child being hung above a roaring fire, slowly roasted by billionaires
- His great ambition is to become the owner and CEO of a rape factory
- Wrote about sending someone a copy of Daisy's Destruction (A literal CP video of a child who's not even a year old being raped) as an April Fools prank. Bruno most likely didn't do it, but for some reason, he felt compelled to write this in his manifesto
- His many failed attempts at suicide
- His hellish experience in BSU, where he was forced to have a therapy session with a fucking Indian therapist and later obese Black women, and lie next to a schizophrenic old man who constantly causes trouble
- Having an entire section in the manifesto dedicated to his fantasies of becoming a medical professor in order to fulfill his desires, such as performing transgender operations where he could "crudely cutting away the testicles and breast tissue" and swap body parts between a married couple while they are awake from anesthesia
Relinquish Reviews "The Sacrifices"
Hello, and welcome to Relinquish reviews
Today, we are going to be looking at "The Sacrifices", a manifesto written by our dear
@BrunoMattei / Alexander Kattke (whom I'm going to be referring to as Bruno in this post). Before we start, we need to first mention one thing. Bruno is not schizo; he's suffering from manic depression, which he mentioned in the interview with Maelstrom on Substack

(
https://archive.is/CKh7E)
He also acknowledges this in his book

Now, let's actually begin reviewing this book. After all, Bruno's aim for this writing, this manifesto, is to "drop a nuclear bomb on the entire literary scene". Let's see how he's gonna achieve this
THE SERIAL KILLER
The entire text is a chaotic, repetitive spiral through various "perspectives" – The Serial Killer, The Machine, The God, and so on – which all boil down to the same core personality: a deeply unhappy, spiteful man trying to shock his way into relevance

The fantasies begin quickly, revealing a startling lack of originality but an overabundance of gore. He claims that every dark comedy imaginable plays throughout his mind "24/7 365 unending". We are treated to the magnificent detail of him feeling around in an exposed carotid artery, comparing the sensation to "my brief excursion at a farm inseminating livestock and how you fist the animal in order to feel if it is in fact pregnant or not"

In a moment of exquisite self-revelation, he admits he could have killed his sister when he was six, but "relented because I was thinking in terms of blowback even then"

The true horror, apparently, is the potential for consequences, not matricide. He later offers a true hallmark of his life experience:
"I fed the roaches that infest my apartment with my vomit"

This lifestyle is especially funny considering his claim of being "the creator of the most disturbing level of text." and thinking about this being his "legacy"

. More accurately, he’s fulfilled the legacy of "junkie living in a rotten room full of trash," as evidenced by his culinary choices for the local insect population.

And also this amazing piece of writing

This is shortly followed by his casual admission, buried in a footnote, that "the author didn’t violently masturbate to every page. It was
every third page". Thank you for clarifying that, Bruno; we were worried about your stamina.

He attempts to sound philosophically menacing by declaring,
"By killing you, I affirm that I exist."

But his true ambition is much more humble: "It is my great ambition to be the owner and CEO of a rape factory"

His self-pity reaches a peak when he links the motivation of a serial killer’s first kill to the "suicide of the artist," both fueled by "the futility and rage against society". His deepest self-reflection?
"My self-reflection is suicide", which is something he wasn't able to do, but we'll get to that

Bruno also believes that depression is a sign of high intelligence

Bruno's edginess seems to involve SkibidiFarms-esque trolling methods like sending CP as an April Fools prank

Bruno also includes these interesting photos
Not sure who this is. Probably the "muse" he was talking about. Or worse, this IS him
EDIT: I was informed that this is just a murder victim of Robert Ben Rhoades. Her name is Regina Kay Walters
He closes this section with a fantasy of working for the CIA as an operator at a Black Site, where he gained release from his cage by playing the system:
"I told one naive woman that I prayed for the first time since I was 12-years-old and found god now". He used this ruse because "It helps knowing that the vast majority of blacks are Christian. It also helps knowing that blacks also despise the atheist with a severe level of contempt."
THE DARK COMEDY
In the section where he tries to be funny, Bruno defines himself as a
“Highly Intelligent Mutant”. These mutants, he informs us, are intelligent but lack inherited wealth. They are chaotic, unappealing to the market, and weaponize their hobbies to unsettle the masses. This is his fancy way of saying he’s a cynical loser with niche tastes, who enjoys both
The Passion of Joan of Arc (1929) and
Cannibal Holocaust (1980).

Bruno also remarks on his constant failure to kill himself
THE MACHINE
This section is extremely retarded and gay, so I'm gonna completely skip it since there's nothing actually interesting. The only thing of note is the fact that AI told him to kill himself and even persisted when Bruno tried to trick ChatGPT into telling him not to kill himself
THE VICTIM
After the AI has mocked him, Bruno retreats into self-pity. He recalls the seminal moment of his childhood trauma: when he forgot a homework book and his mother launched into a three-hour rage, screaming,
“If I give you a knife, would you kill yourself?”

He got framed by his older sister (who he previously tried to murder) for killing their family dog, and Bruno got blamed for it

He details his misery, confessing that "The only things I will miss by committing suicide are the friends I’ve made"

He details his harrowing (but easily avoidable) stay at the BSU, or "insane asylum". It all starts off with a suicide

This part made me laugh. God himself spelled out to Bruno a word SUFFAH

He then describes the suicide attempt further. He recounts the indifference of the staff, including a guard who giggled at his condition:
“You did that yourself! Haha!”

After he recovered enough from the suicide, he was taken to BSU, which is where the troubles began. Bruno describes his unpleasant interactions with a schizophrenic old man

The staff completely ignored all the problems Bruno described in this section, and he was forced to put up with all of this bullshit

Bruno was even forced to have a therapy session with an INDIAN

The person assigning Bruno the medicine was a Pakistani man

Another therapist whom Bruno was forced to have a session with was an obese Black woman

This is where Bruno decides to come up with a genius plan to escape this hell. He's going to pretend to be completely fine and that all the pills they prescribed to him magically worked. He attributes his escape to his superior intellect:
"From my research of psychology, I was able to understand how to manipulate them by playing up to their savior complex, and I learned this from true crime documentaries on high-intellect serial killers like Ed Kemper"

Thankfully for Bruno, he was able to escape. But as he left the building, he felt the need to leave a final message. And what message did he leave? It was “H.P. Lovecraft’s cat". A message he etched into walls using a stolen half-pencil

Upon returning home, he received the final devastating blow: "I found out that my cat of three years was adopted by the animal shelter he was taken to and I had no one to pick him up". This tragedy, coupled with the realization that he had been "formally been victimized by society itself", reaffirmed his belief that
"my existence is only meant to bring pain"
THE GOD / THE OPTIMIST
I'm going to merge these 2 sections together since they're quite short
After all the self-pity and serial killer fantasies, Bruno momentarily becomes "The God," dismissing the suffering of others:
"I am disinterested in the screams. They are of no difference. I do not care about your story"

Then, in a truly bizarre shift, he becomes "The Optimist," claiming he is now able to "see the good in things including the most debased"

He claims his purpose has been made clear—to benefit others

But don't worry, this doesn't last long, as he immediately pivots back to imagining "mankind surrendering to the raw expression from the first moment of life to the brief and furious conclusion," where "your eternity is everlasting orgasm". He ends this section with a warning:
"To all females who may be reading: beware the man who quotes Georges Bataille on a first date"
THE TOOLS OF DESTRUCTION & THE SURGERIES
This section is lame and gay. It's literally just Bruno jerking off to a fantasy of becoming a medical professional to live out his sick fetishes. These fetishes include performing cosmetic surgeries, such as the orbital box osteotomy on a rich black woman, where he deliberately spits into the open wound on her skull to invoke his "sense of alterity".

His true passion, however, lies in the burgeoning transgender surgery market, where he could "crudely cutting away the testicles and breast tissue" and swap body parts between a married couple while they are awake from anesthesia
THE SOLDIER
Putting aside his fetish writings, Bruno adopts the simple, brutal persona of "The Soldier," proud of his anti-intellectualism and illiteracy, claiming to have only read the manual on
How to be a Soldier. His therapy is found in
"shrapnel wounds and burned-in imagery"

He admits to lying as a recruiter to lure "the less fortunate to enlist so that they can know the feelings of failure only the military can bestow". He tricked an 18-year-old, telling him he would spend his days on the beach surfing

He claims to have given up everything, thus
"sacrificed having an original thought"

His preferred legacy? Not writing, but creating a better weapon: "If I could create I would simply be the man who was able to further refine the bullet and end up creating the hollow point"
THE MADNESS or the Madness of being (a Writer)
Bruno finally dedicates a section to his true affliction: being a writer. He confesses that his original desire was to create "Absolute Films" but due to limitations, he "had instead settled upon my own kingdom of mediocrity in deciding on becoming a writer"

He also tells his family that he hates them. Also, "first rape" part. Does this mean that Bruno was raped, or was he the rapist? I'm not sure

His final thesis is a grand, self-congratulatory statement on his own evil:
"Believe you me, my evil is equal. If I so want you to die then I will gladly take your hand so we both fall"

His ultimate goal is to achieve the level of depravity of Marquis de Sade (the snippet of this text you saw earlier in this post)

He concludes by telling the reader to
"Burn my books and erase me", then immediately offers a lengthy, rambling, cited list of his influences (from Schopenhauer to Terry A. Davis). He offers his ultimate definition of his work: call me a
"struggling William S. Burroughs, Lautreamont’s abortion, the remnants of Sade’s jizz rag, Peter Sotos-esque, or a self-aware Nick Land"
Closing Thoughts
Well, that was a waste of my fucking time.
If Bruno intended this screeching, self-pitying tirade to be a "nuclear bomb on the entire literary scene", he achieved the literary equivalent of a damp squib tossed into his own disgusting room. This entire manifesto is a bloated monument to the delusional ego of a man who mistakes being wretched for being profound. Bruno labels himself a "Highly Intelligent Mutant", yet his highest ambition seems to be convincing us that his fragmented,
disguised schizophrenia is somehow on par with
120 Days of Sodom, a large part of which is literally just a fetish fanfic. He is less a tortured genius and more the literary equivalent of the perpetually failing cartoon coyote, so incompetent that he can't even kill himself properly
He begs the reader to "Burn my books and erase me", then frantically lists his influences and hopes his aphorisms will be
written in chalk on gun barrels by a future spree killer
Final Rating: 0/10. Not only does it fail as a "haunted text", but it also fails as a suicide note, leaving us only with the echo of his internal screaming and the certainty that his self-annihilation will precede ours, which is a blessing, frankly
