You would think a faggot like Osoff would be allowed to break rank because he'll need help in GA next year, but I guess he's hoping sassy black yassss kweeeen will just show up in force ya hurrrrrr. They need 4 more gay dems to vote yes to get to 60.
Booooooo. Come on Massie be the bitch you know you want to be for a week and hold out voting no so Trump can gut everything first. You and Trump can even have a gay fight on Twitter. This vote is made for you to have your little grandstanding session over like you usually like to do and then reverse on. Give Trump a week to finish the job.

Sounds like the final votes for the night have been taken, and it's going to be a shutdown.
Best possible outcome. Let the culling begin.

He also smoked this sick-ass pipe.
A system of governance wherein the man with the coolest smoking pipe (ONLY FOR TOBACCO) is put in charge seems reasonable to me. In all seriousness, I really need to see if I can buy a replica of that pipe online, that thing is rad.

Genuine question, how does this affect my life?
I don’t know, is it a good thing for normal people or a bad thing?
There are long-term ramifications if it lasts for a while but in the immediate short-term for the average person not much changes though to my understanding you won't be able to visit federally funded national parks.

Wait, really? That's slick.
I saw the guy's memorial once while idly driving around. It's a big obelisk in a random corn field in Kentucky.
yeah, that is the pipe he smoked all through the war and his imprisonment. Its a carved Meerschaum pipe. Meerschaum is kinda like soapstone. it used to be the number one material for pipe making back before the 1930s when it was mostly replaced by briar wood.

its fairly fragile but stays cool in the hand and as you can see in the photo it takes on a nice patina from the smoke and tobacco over the years.

Davis' pipe was carved in the "eagle-claw" style. most people today call the style a "dragon-claw" but its an eagle. new pipes like that will run about $500 at the cheapest and the sky is the limit if you buy from any of the famous carvers. Meerschaum is primarily a product of Turkey. its not profitable to mine anywhere else anymore.
