It ISN'T running well. Which is why he pulled a pathetic 34% of the vote from the main electorate. Wages are rising less than the even newer lower inflation, and utilities and costs continue to rise incredibly fast well beyond the inflation figure. It is the IMF bailout that stabilized the finances of the country. "Suddenly" care about corruption? His banner was to cast out the "corruption caste" and in reality, he is just breeding a new one.

That company his sister got the kickbacks for went from receiving "X" amount from the government to 20 fold increase. It is oozing corruption, the same corruption that fucked the country in he first place, only this time, he is making sure there will be nothing left for the little people.

As if the people who paid into the tax system heir whole life and are now getting their pensions fucked are the cause - it is, was and will be the incredible corruption from politicians in that country that bleed it dry. But the common man pays for it.

66% of the people in that vote told him to fuck off. Clearly, it is not going well.
No one cares about the corruption bit, and the economic situation is far more stable than a few years ago. The reason people voted against him is because he waged a pointless ideological war against retirees, public university, and one of Argentina's holiest institutions, public healthcare. It was a stupid move in every way possible and he rightfully got fucked up for it. Still, this is horrible because it creates political and economical certainty. I'd rather he had won the mid terms and fucked off after his four years were up.

Retirees were already living on miserable pensions even before he came along. This is about the cost of medications.
the country is not running well, and he came to power because he promised not to be like the rest (aka not corrupt). Plus corruption sucks no matter who does it
Non-corrupt politicians don't exist.

So he scraps the policy preventing relatives from having certain government positions
Knowing LATAM there was never a law against that in the first place, tho he probably got elected on the promise that he would pass that law.
Why can't latin america have decent politicians? It's in their DNA or something.
We're one maybe two bad elections away from ending with people like these.

What did he say?

There was a regulation that forbid spouses and close relatives from high-ranking positions to avoid corruption. He had it altered so his sister could serve with him.

You can guarantee madstan is talking out of his arse. He constantly makes things up just to be adversarial. The entire problem with Milei's sister is that she allegedly took bribed from big pharma.

The only thing close to changes to laws regarding spouses and relatives in public office is that Milei ended the system of hereditary patronage that allowed relatives or spouses of deceased government employees to inherit their positions. This made a lot of people very angry.

Nothing? That's just why people are against Milei right now. PAMI isn't granting medications to retirees though, which is a pretty big problem.

It's complete bullshit, Máximo Kirchner was in government positions at the same time as Cristina. Fag should look to his own country for corruption instead of ours.

Also after checking the statistics again, since last elections the Peronist vote actually fell and LLA got more votes. I'm no Gehenna, but I think everyone is fed up with everyone at this point.

LMAO now I get why nobody wants to invest there, I remember a brazilian telling me he couldn't make business in Argentina because any retard with a government job would show up asking for a bribe.

Nobody watched the national address. And the worst is that he used the perfidious phrase "the worst has passed", which not only he had already used last year, but two previous disastrous administrations (de la Rua, and Macri) also used that phrase. One of them (de la Rua's) ended in the president resigning and triggering a constitutional crisis and riots, so you can imagine the bad image that phrase brings.
Also, the president always looks down when he gives a speech, reading directly from a paper, which just looks awful and autistic

journos are turning against the president also, which is not a good sign for the up-and-coming elections in October

he could've made the people and markets happy by kick out his corrupt, ugly, witch (literally) of a sister, but no, she is the "Moses" to his "Aaron" or something

In news not given by a Peronist cock polisher, Milei's image is barely ahead of Kicillof's anymore, at around 44% compared to Kicillof's 39%. It's pretty saddening to see, less because of Milei, but mostly because everyone forgot how retarded that narco midget is. Everyone forgets way too quick just how horrible the situation was a few years ago.

What's more alarming is that we don't actually have a popular candidate anymore. I think Milei might be the last time a simple majority of the population rallies behind anyone.

this mentality of "you are either with milei or you are peronist" is beyond stupid. It's like saying "you are either with trump or you are a democrat". No you mongoloid, I have a +90 IQ, so I can think and discern what is good and bad about things

milei is a jew wanna be who is killing our country. He is no better than actual jew kicillof

The peronists probably salivated and got lot of wet dreams when they learned this news who hurts Milei.

Following his government's resounding loss in local elections - seen as a harbinger of next month's congressional races - Argentine President Milei is facing a renewed crisis as the embattled South American country's currency is collapsing amid fears that he will scrap his defense of the peso (which has already cost hundreds of millions of dollars) and let it plunge as so many of his predecessors have done.
“The market,” Milei said when collared by a local journalist for a brief interview late Friday, is “in panic mode.”
In a desperate attempt to satisfy demand for hard currency and prevent the peso from cratering, the three-day intervention figure rose to $1.1 billion, a staggering amount in a country that, by economists’ best estimates, has less than $20 billion in liquid foreign reserves.

Sorry for double post but there's another negative news report about Milei and Argentina from what I saw on that channel named "World Affairs in Context". I don't know how trustable is that channel compared to said, China Observer or China Uncensored.

ARGO KIWIS… What’s going on? What’s this I hear about a peso possibly collapsing? And America having to pump in money ? I thought Milei would fix everything?!

power because he promised not to be like the rest (aka not corrupt). Plus corruption sucks no matter who does it
Welp, it’s almost as if the fact that he seemed to care more about Israel than Argentina was a warning signal?!

LMAO!

Some of the most schizophrenic headlines I’ve seen in a while.

“We’re going to help! But they don’t need our help, but here’s 20 billion anyways!”

It's not scizhophrenic, your headlines are actually saying different things. The 20billion is a currency swap. Banks do this all the time, basically they exchange foreign currency for USD, so that the foreign entity can continue to conduct various international transactions in USD as it needs.
