The minecraft excuse won't save you from making threats.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in South Brunswick, New Jersey after allegedly posting a death threat targeting a Sherriff in Florida, and ending his statement with the words “In Minecraft”.

The threat, who local news say was made by a man named Richard Golden, was posted on 4chan’s /pol board, where terrorists like the Buffalo mass shooter have also been active. It was directed at Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, wholast month became a target of the far right after publicly speaking out in support of his local Jewish community, in response to “anti-semitic propaganda” being handed out by local Nazis.

“Just shoot Chitwood in the head and he stops being a problem. They have to find a new guy to be the problem”, the post says, before adding “But shooting Chitwood in the head solves an immediate problem permanently. Just shoot Chitwood in the head and murder him”.

“In Minecraft”.

As Boing Boing point out, “In Minecraft” is a way people can use “a catchphrase spoken as a way to qualify a statement as not relating to the real world”. Which obviously didn’t work in this case, because as you can see in the video recorded by body cameras below, it didn’t take long for police to locate Golden at his mother’s house and arrest him. He’ll now be extradited to Floriday to face “a felony count of writing a threat to kill”.

Despite becoming the target of death threats, Chitwood is relishing his confrontation with local Nazis, joking on Twitter “What a shame. A 4chan troll has to come out of his room”.

“You came to the wrong county,” Chitwood said last month, addressing local hate groups. “I stand with my Jewish friends, and I’m honored to be on your hit list. It’s an honor to be sought after by a bunch of punk thugs like you.”

Bizarrely, while some reports—like those on Dexerto and Boing Boing—show Golden’s alleged threat in full, including the Minecraft line, other outletslike Fox are leaving the reference out.

Who wants to see Dale’s community argue with each other like drama queens?


Arguing about their setups, looks, living arrangements, ages, Jesus. They’re all as insecure as their master. If anybody confronted Dale about any of that, he’d get in his feelings. All this proves is that Dale loves drama.
 
Why you would tell this story to anyone is beyond me. LTG said that a dude came up to him, wanting to get a picture with him, because he was recognized on Tik Tok for a "Section 8 meme"

Anyway, Dale streamed himself reacting to the videos people generated of him, and he ended up getting flashbanged about child support and not taking care of his daughter at least four times. It’s pretty funny.

I mean, it's a cat, they're pretty good at landing on their feet. I certainly wouldn't toss my vomit factory like that but I'm white. Surprisingly gentle toss all things considered.

None of that matters though. The first rule of Ulthar has been violated in the Internet's eyes so he'll get a bunch of grief over it so that'll be funny. He's also a pavement ape so he's got a lot of immunity from that sort of thing.
 
At the risk of being called a fag and getting hats, I'm gonna say that the cat was probably completely fine, I've seen cats jump that far, and fall off higher things without there being a problem. However, if you call him an animal abuser for that he will absolutely flip out and generate content from it.

The cat is probably fine, it's a cat. But holy hell he gave that kitty some air. He's going to get some shit
 
Anybody calling that specific cat toss "animal abuse" is just hand wringing and pearl clutching.

But he did seem to hesitate for the stream... was he planning on sportsball PUNTING the cat and diverted at the last second with a hop? More investigation is required.
