The autists over at Mumsnet are outdoing even the Farmers on this one. Apparently this "Professor" has a CV that falls to dust if you breathe on it or even just look at it a bit funny. No sign of a degree, no PhD, no academic papers, no academic posts, very little traceable history on-line apart from winning the sort of awards that nowadays are given to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She may be a "former director of the Enterprising Women's Network" but people are even having trouble tracking down whether she's had a job in the last twenty years. Shades of the dodgy admiral and lots more to come out if anyone fancies a go? Or just the standard NI cover for being a gangster and drug dealer? The waters are a bit muddied due to the fact that there are a couple of other Professor Deborah Boyds knocking around who seem to be genuine Professors.

The amount of trans people claiming intersex and trying to change things into intersex conditions because they screwed the pooch by getting transgenderism removed from mental illness or medical diagnosis vastly outnumber the voices of actual intersex conditioned people.

Quick reminder that "gender dysphoria" is still in the DSM. It was changed from "gender identity disorder" to remove the triggering stigma of the word "disorder," but it's still in there.

New Zealand has banned puberty blockers! Another big fat tranny L!


WELLINGTON, Nov 19 (Reuters) - New Zealand said on Wednesday it was banning new prescriptions of puberty blocking drugs for young transgender people, in a move that critics warned could worsen the mental health of those affected.
The step comes amid growing global debate about the number of adolescents seeking to change gender, dividing those concerned about hastiness in prescribing such medications and those worried about access to remedies they deem life-saving.

Health Minister Simeon Brown said doctors would no longer be able to prescribe gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogues for gender dysphoria or incongruence to those seeking treatment for the conditions and not already on the drugs.

The decision resulted from a health ministry finding of a lack of "high-quality evidence that demonstrates the benefits or risks", Brown added in a statement.

The ban takes effect from December 19.

Some countries, such as Britain, have placed a temporary ban on the sale or supply of these drugs to those under 18 who are not already taking them.

The drugs will still be available in New Zealand for those with early onset puberty, endometriosis or prostate cancer, as well as for current users.

The health ministry said 113 people were using puberty blockers in 2023, down from 140 in 2021.
The ban will have a devastating impact on the lives and wellbeing of transgender and gender diverse young people in New Zealand, said Elizabeth McElrea, an official with a transgender health body.

"The ban will lead to worsening mental health, increased suicidality and dysphoria for gender diverse children and young people," McElrea, the vice-president of the Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa said in a statement.
It would bring a higher risk of experiencing marginalisation and discrimination for them, she added.

Treatment decisions should be made by doctors, young people and their parents, said Shanan Halbert, spokesperson for opposition party Labour on Rainbow issues.

He also called for the government to provide adequate support for those hit by the ban.

Good. Giving this shit to children was wrong from the start and doctors who prescribed it should be held liable when they eventually off themselves over the damage done by the treatments.
 
Reminder that puberty blockers were invented to treat precocious puberty so children don't end up with issues associated with growing too fast. They were never meant to be used on healthy kids so that their parents can have a "special" child that gets them attention and diversity points. Jail all doctors who prescribed it, liquidate all parents who asked for it.

The countries that generally are banning puberty blockers have one thing in common and that's socialised health care. Once you take profit out of the picture, it's hard to justify doing these procedures. Imagine that.

Many US states are in fact banning this stuff. It's only the pozzed states and the feds that allow it.

This is very beautiful, I was worried this would affect people with early onset puberty or certain cancers but reading through this article relieved that worry early on. Gender dysphoria in children is real but it tends to dissipate about 50% of the time, especially in teenage males who want to be girls. Interesting how the countries who are banning this are the most liberal countries, it’s almost as if when you take the profit out of medicine, you stop going for bullshit extremities. Good job on not allowing children to continue being guinea pigs!
