Saw a brief quote from Roan Chappell on Facebook about how sudden fame really wasn't what she expected. Talking about a time two guys cornered her in an airport demanding autographs after she told them she doesn't do autographs outside of certain circumstances.
A friend of mine used to work for a local news station and is friends with some of the talent, they all have stories of having uncomfortable interactions with the public. They're also targeted for burglaries, one lady had thousands of dollars of jewelry stolen from her house.
There's definitely a dark side to fame; because people are great, but fans are insane.

This interview (which we think he probably had to pay for) displays Russell's fantasy of having a 60 Minutes fluff piece showing his baby pictures and telling an "inspirational" story of how he overcame his disability, the sort of thing to make moms go "Aww!" but mixed with "I FUCK FILTHY WHORES! I WANT MORE FILTHY WHORES TO FUCK! I WANNA BE THE FILTHY WHORE KING!!!"

It's one thing to pump an LLM full of your sloppy lolsuit filings and prompt it to write up a new filing based off what you fed it. It is quite a different thing to give it the proper prompts to spit out actual music.

I don't think it's just laziness. There's hubris there too.
Greee thinks he's so talented, there's no way he'd tacitly admit that he's a lousy songwriter by handing over the songwriting process to an LLM. Especially as it'd never fully understand his plights, no matter how specific the prompt.
He may feed his own shitty lyrics into an AI music generator so he can save money on paying session singers and other accommodations, plus he wouldn't have to credit a singer. However, I think the current iteration of AI music generation models could be a tad too difficult for Greee to use.

He wasn't happy with just playing his "I get you Taylor Swift" demo on his keyboard filmed on his iphone, he HAD to have it "professionally produced" in a recording studio. Sure, he always has to use vanity song producers like songcat, but it's a REAL song made with REAL recording equipment and PROFESSIONALLY mixed. Then he can call himself a "professional music producer"
If he used AI to make a song and music video like 10,000 14 year-olds on Youtube, he wouldn't be any more "professional" or a "music producer" than @YouTube Autist, which is probably why he freaked about the "impersonation" so much

I think the only idea stupider than trying to open a whorehouse is trying to take over a failing food service establishment. I think every town has that one spot where new restaurants keep opening and failing in short succession. Hint: there's always a good reason for that.
With that being said, I am very excited for this new arc. I bet he's going to try to open one of those bikini coffee stands and fail miserably. Let's just hope that for everyone's sake Russ isn't the one in the bikini.
