That is obviously a lie/cope; there is a distinct difference between the culture here and the reddit and xitter denizens who are just super, super mad at her for some reason instead of content to sit back, observe and laugh. Even the Chantopolis moderator posted a retarded pretend-coy call to report her to animal control at one point - as though a fed, properly housed indoor cat was anything the Ontario SPCA was ever going to give a shit about. The differences between the culture there, where many people believe they're on some sort of righteous crusade, and the culture here, where people just post Chantal's address because it's funny, are really stark and interesting. (The other gorls' subreddits are the same: constant pathetic bragging about pootouching in defiance of the nominal rules. Yet they clutch their heads when the subs keep getting banned.)

Chantal is a terrible person but plenty of terrible people in society make a living. It's really interesting that people can make her into a whole creepy crusade and obsess about it to the point where some of them seem to be experiencing personal psychological distress about her.

It's basically what happened to KingCobraJFS: the Farms was content to just watch him do his thing and overall, he was about as harmless as a lolcow could get (he liked his women of age, and at most the worst you could say about him was the whole Puff situation) but for some inexplicable reason, the assholes on Reddit wanted to ruin his life and take away his income on a regular basis, but would often blame the Farms or think the Farms was somehow worse than they were. It's the exact same thing.

Chantal is no saint and there is plenty to have genuine hatred of her for, be it how she treated her cats to making an absolute joke of domestic violence victims during the whole Crackhead Olympics era. But what these Reddit and Twitter boneheads don't realize is that awful people oftentimes do get their comeuppance. Maybe not in ways or on the time we want them to, but it eventually happens. In Chantal's case, you could argue she already has: her income has diminished significantly due to her own choices, her body is just barely hanging in there and is one or three huge mukbangs away from The Big One, her family may have finally disowned her, she has no car, no home to call her own, and -worst of all to her- no man to claim her. The pearl-clutchers on Reddit and Twitter don't need to do shit because Chins did it all to herself for them.

On the one hand, I think it's kind of fucked up that YouTube arbitrarily changes the rules, and then punishes people for videos they made when it wasn't against the rules, as if they did it on purpose. On the other hand, I really hate Chantal and Amber, so I have mixed feelings right now.

If Chantal is already getting warnings and using another channel to stream from and the entire cottage industry of restreamers that bring her tens of thousands of hate watchers indirectly she is going to be royally fucked when it comes to income.

That's one of the big questions. Youtube isn't making it clear, although they seem to be hitting any channel that used "binge" in a mukbang title pretty hard.

I'm guessing any food-focused channel that's also talked about eating disorders is in trouble. Some of the militant vegans and food sensitivity channels should review their content before youtube does the job for them. The recovering bulimic/skelly channels better watching it.

But I can also see youtube reviewers just looking at incoming complaints and then looking at the thumbnail of a 400 lb woman sitting in front of a huge meal with "mukbang" in the title...sus at best.

I hope this is just wishful thinking on Fatso's behalf. She's probably going to show Salah how her income has increased since being in Canada, and she can bring him more money again. Although this type of keywords could help, I think a big component of this might also be, for once, due to manual reviews.

AI usually fucks up and ends up demonetizing people who should not be. I am pretty sure big creators in the space would have mentioned it. I am mainly thinking of competitive eating as an example, which is super popular and brand friendly.

I am not sure how AI would be able to discern the difference between healthy and an unhealthy to a degree it would go unnoticed.

I’d say that’s a bit of a good idea of how to take it. Chantal has to struggle for any lasting happiness that doesn’t have her doing a 180 on her emotions later which I think she hasn’t experienced in a long time, and her content has gotten to the point where even haters have had enough (Chicken Pickle has tapped out of livestream reactions due to getting tired of Chantal’s pity party theatrics, and IIRC, her and Unicorn Pondue straight up refuse to give any time to when Chantal brings up cats).

Meanwhile, most of us here can step away from this thread and enjoy things that we truly appreciate. Be it friends, family, hobbies, learning something new, or just being comfortable with our bodies that we know to take care of.
