It's been talked about for pages at this point, but he really does look and sound different with braces.
And I know I shouldn't be, but for whatever reason I'm still astounded he is vain and insecure enough to have gotten another round of braces as a 40 y/o adult. Especially when it's to do some minor alignment shifting.

You can speculate some of it is at least related to his humiliation thing, but he made a big deal about getting that Asian facial blast thing a couple years ago too, so I do think it leans more on the insecurity side. Or maybe it really does all stem from the anecdote he always tells about him mom telling him as a child his teeth were the most important quality he had.

I will say that at least Linus has not been conned into getting veneers like his idol Mr. Beast "Jimmy" did. His dentist did convince him to get his wisdom teeth pulled unnecessarily, but I would hate to see him become another Youtuber who permanently fucks up their mouth chasing an astroturfed dental aesthetic.
 
The Linus T. video was kinda fun, but for me - it barely scratched a surface. Linus seemed like chill guy, but that's it. Not worth an hour of watch time

if anything id expect its Josh Moon of the USIPS (no relation to Josh Moon of kiwi farms) going on the Lan show.
the charity fits the shows tech focus and its easier for null to be normal on LAN than Linus "Hard R." Sebastian to answer which cheese he loves while looking at fat ai cartoon dragons
