Mein letzter Tag in Innsbruck und ich wollte keine Minute verschwenden. Leider haben im November die Bergbahnen geschlossen (Wartung), sodass es nur eine Möglichkeit gab sich Innsbruck von oben anzusehen – Die Skisprungschanze.

Für schlappe 8,50€ kommt man bis ganz nach oben und hat von dort einen traumhaften Ausblick bzw. Überblick über Innsbruck. Leider habe ich es dort nicht geschafft mein Foto zu machen, da es einfach zu hell bzw. im Schatten dann zu dunkel war.

Im Anschluss an den Schanzen besuch, ging es wieder in die Altstadt. Dort angekommen, kam mir dieser Mann mit seiner Begleitung entgegen. Sofort sagte meine Innere Stimme, das ist einer aus Innsbruck, obwohl er und seine Begleitung eine Kamera in den Händen hielt - was eigentlich ehr für Touristen sprechen würde. Trotzdem sprach ich das Paar an, stellte mich und mein Projekt vor und… er kommt aus Innsbruck. Auch er wollte das tolle Wetter (blauer Himmel und 15°) nutzten um zu fotografieren. Wie sich dann später im Gespräch herausstellte, ist auch er sehr viel und oft mit der Kamera unterwegs. Daher auch die Canon 1Ds mk3 Zeiss-Objektive, die ich dann auch benutzten sollte um von den beiden ein, zwei Fotos zu machen. Mir hat Innsbruck sehr viel Spaß gemacht und ich bedanke mich bei den Innsbruckern die mir Ihre Stadt ein wenig näher gebracht haben.

My last day in Innsbruck, and I didn't want to waste a single minute. Unfortunately, the cable cars were closed in November (for maintenance), so there was only one way to see Innsbruck from above – the ski jump.

For a mere €8.50, you can go all the way to the top and enjoy a fantastic view of Innsbruck. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take my photo there because it was simply too bright, and then too dark in the shade.

After visiting the ski jump, I headed back to the old town. As I arrived, I ran into this man and his companion. My gut feeling immediately told me they were from Innsbruck, even though they were both holding cameras – which would normally suggest tourists. Nevertheless, I approached the couple, introduced myself and my project, and… he was from Innsbruck. He, too, wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather (blue skies and 15°C) to take photos. As it turned out later in our conversation, he also travels a lot with his camera. Hence the Canon 1Ds mk3 Zeiss lenses, which I then used to take a couple of photos of the two. I really enjoyed Innsbruck and I thank the people of Innsbruck who helped me get to know their city a little better.
