Somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody (maybe with a few more somebodies tossed in) who I know claims the first somebody got a call from the management at The Ocean House inquiring if they would be willing to re-schedule their Saturday, 06/13/2026 wedding date. In compensation they would receive 100% of their wedding and honeymoon paid for, by this presently unknown benefactor. Or so the story goes. 😐

  • Who's favorite number 13?
  • Who owns an expensive yet weirdly tacky gigantic mansion on the waterfront in Westerly, RI?
  • Who has the jack to throw that kind of dough around?
  • Who is famous and engaged?
  • Who won't get married during the NFL season?
I rest my case. Who else could it possibly be, with that collection of overwhelming evidence?

Actually, it would be funnier if the couple to be told them (whoever this is, really) to pound sand. Ain't no grocery clerks getting married at The Ocean House, after all.

lmao. One time I was visiting a friend in RI and we ended up there, he stopped in the driveway to get his bearings and the valets were eyeing us so hard. His beater Cruze really didn't fit in.

I ain't posting shit about this broad anywhere else. And the absolute LAST thing I'm going to do is tie this nonsense even remotely to me on a personal level, never mind a professional one. This was conveyed to me while I was at work in a "I just heard the most fucked up thing" tone followed by all the nonsense speculated in the OP. But, it gave me a chuckle. That's as far as I'll go with any of this.

I'm a bit ashamed this is now tied to my KF account, TBH. Okay, not really. Or maybe just a bit.

Honestly, nobody is more surprised than I am that this turned out to be true. But I'm still amused that it did.
 
That's Jason Voorhees' birthday by the way. I mean it's a Saturday not a Friday next year, but still. Many of their anniversaries (assuming the marriage lasts, which, lol, I know), will be on the iconic murder date.

Hopefully Kevin Bacon will be in attendance.
