Why would China wants this war to go longer though? The longer the conflict, the more unstable the region will be and the more it will disrupt China's economic/trade strategy and goals there
They could want it to last a little longer so that they can see how their equipment performs more accurately, you know, having a larger data set. Although, this is dependent upon what China prioritizes, the stability of the region or seeing what their weapons can really do.

Bad news, Thai is now accusing Cambodia for breaking the ceasefire

Sounds like both sides don't want to end this war so soon
Given how fast globalism's been collapsing, a continuation (even if just scattered violence) of this is next to inevitable.

Wonder what war will be next. Also wonder when Trump's going to realize campaigning on peacemaking is a dead end (though he can just blame Biden for letting it all happen).

According to reddit, Cambodia was forced to bomb Thai hospitals and petrol stations as part of a 3-day special military operation to defend itself from NATO imperialism.

So if you're a redditor with a reddit worldview, I guess you could consider Cambodia as the good guys.
Thailand, if you're reading this, we have some "Cambodians" in the USA that need a S. Korean JDAM too.

Also, LMAO

It's ended exactly the way I thought it would:
Thai made just enough gains to claim victory to their people.
Hun Sen and his son can LARP as war time leader that resist evil Thai invader = optic win for them

I bet daddy Xi told them to stop fucking around or else...
And beside Thai can't advance any further without trigger China and Vietnam's red line.

Though there's a chance the negotiation on August 4th might fall through.

Edit: There's still "intense" fighting apparently. The ceasefire is at midnight local time, so less than 2hrs left for them to settle grudge.

What Hun Sen doesn't realize is this just Makes Cambodia and it's military look like incompetent retards and fwiw the Thai military was slapping around Cambodia and most Thai causalities were civilians hit by Cambodian rocket artillery
They could want it to last a little longer so that they can see how their equipment performs more accurately, you know, having a larger data set. Although, this is dependent upon what China prioritizes, the stability of the region or seeing what their weapons can really do.
Ehh the vast majority of Cambodian gear is old or small arms. Their only kinda modern SAMs are Chinese although they aren't much of threat to Thai jets dropping standoff weapons.

Here it is

Trump really wants a Nobel peace prize. He wants it with the autistic passion of an autist denied his sonic game.

Retardedly self-destructive monarcho-socialism ackshually has a long & storied history in Cambodia. The king during the Vietnam War, Norodom Sihanouk, was a pinko faggot who aided North Vietnam & the Vietcong by means ranging from allowing the Communist bloc to supply them through Cambodia (the aptly named Sihanouk Trail, which equally fittingly started at the port of Sihanoukville before transporting said supplies inland), knowingly hosting many of their operatives & troops on Cambodian soil, and going all the way up to recognizing the latter's shadow gov't in South Vietnam while pretending to be a better fencesitter than Tim Pool.

When the US finally got tired of his shit and greenlit Lon Nol's ouster of his commie-supporting ass, Sihanouk ran right into the arms of the Khmer Rouge and played a huge role in helping them take over the country by directing loyal Cambodian peasants to back them & serving as their figurehead. Now he was shocked & appalled when the Khmer Rouge started doing Khmer Rouge things once he'd finished putting them into power, but they were so thankful to him for his help that Pol Pot let him live under relatively luxurious house arrest at the Cambodian royal palace rather than treat him like he treated basically everyone else. After the Vietnamese invaded, overthrew Pol Pot, ended his autogenocidal policies and set up a puppet government headed by pro-Vietnamese Khmer Rouge collaborators, Sihanouk...went right back to allying with Pol Pot's loyalists to fight them.

Honestly, the CIA should've whacked this nigger instead of Diem, would've saved both the Americans and the rest of Indochina a hell of a lot of needless suffering.

The Taiwanese lady boys are no match for the superior genetic specimens known as the Cambodians. All of the subhuman Cambodians were executed by glorious Glory.Paul Pot.

Cambodia has a kang, I am therefore Klan Khmer's strongest soldier.
They'd better fucking do something, Indochina war 4 wasn't the sequel I was expecting but can't complain.
