This thing has only just been announced and he's already having a hissy fit, what's next? 'The US navy sucks' by HoE? 'Why we need to touch America's ships' by Animarchy? These halfwits have no principles so I wouldn't be shocked if they actually made those vids.

On the other half, I really want to see Battleships come back and be viable in modern navy doctrine, and I had a thought that Railguns/Coilguns could make this a reality considering you'd need a large ship for all the machinery to power such weapons. I kinda cautiously want this ship to succeed, and the fact it's called the Trump-Class and is making the Leftwaffe seethe is just icing on the cake.

Why does anyone care what a fat public gooner with a PhD from Wikipedia University and a tenured chair at Reddit says about naval warfare? Am I missing something? When I watch history or academic videos on YouTube, I make sure the person is at least a little reputable. This guy has literally nothing to convince me to take his thoughts as anything but the ponderings of a Redditor who still thinks it’s 2015.

They also would be soyfacing if the ship was announced by Barack Obama or Joe Biden, nut themselves raw as the American empire that allows them to exist spends incredible amounts of money on a project that costs more than the GDP of the nation it will eventually be used to bombard. Then again, if the competition of the empire would show up with a ship with the exact same specs and performance; they would inevitably say something about it being a paper tiger, no matter how it performs in the real world.

They're the biggest, most beautiful battleships. A lot of people are saying it's going to be the best battleship ever made - now i won't necessarily go THAT far, but all those people have to believe that for a reason - perhaps because they're so expensive and contain the best technology!

You've never seen a battleship like a Trump battleship, believe me.
