Streamer "ScrubsNYC" started the year off strongly - Seemingly receiving some type of fetish interaction on stream, before being puked on and the girl storming off when he tried to kiss her.

They’re just parasitic like that. Anybody who is “apolitical” is a prime target for infestation because they know nobody can do anything about it without risking the wrath of Twitch staff. Just look at what happened to Games Done Quick. It used to be nothing but playing video games really fast to raise money for charity. Now it’s a Goddamn cess pit of hormone blockers and troons patting each other on the back.
 

In an effort for this multimillionaire to finally start paying rent Lacy has started streaming 13 hours a day and has announced he's going to start doing monthly "sleep streams" where he wants to run max ads while sleeping and expects his viewers to open a new tab at 1% volume and have it playing all night.

And these dipshits wonder why ad companies are abandoning Twitch, while Youtube will straight up ban accounts / departner people who even insinuate at gaming the adsense program.

Another day, another embarrassing failure of Twitch website security. A lot of streamers are reporting that a hacker was able to get into their accounts and change their payment information to the hacker's paypal account, all without tripping their 2 factor authentication or changing the password. The only notification they received was their payout details being changed.

Twitch support is apparently "helping" by resetting people's logins through chat support, all without authenticating who they're talking to is actually the person they're resetting information of.

Aside from how companies feel about it, culture changed quite fast in these spaces. Before, when donations weren't really commonplace, and people just subscribed when they were fans of the person, and of course the platform was smaller, people didn't openly either beg for money/subscribers/similar, and they didn't talk like a corporation like people do now about it all, how much they're growing, openly flaunting wealth that they specifically got from viewers, openly saying they are "networking". Fans are willing to donate or sub to keep streaks going, comment in places like youtube for traction, "the algo". Very soulless.

From what I've gathered some vidya game shit started and "Dwarf Lord" made a video saying one side had racists in it, so this blew up in his face.

On one hand he tried to virtue signal, on the other he didn't know there was an online sperg shitposting about COMPLETE NIGGER PANDEMONIUM events (not my fault as I am affected by ~US propaganda~).
 

Kick streamer "Konvy" apparently (unless gay & fake) just got shot on stream while in NYC.

I haven't looked at that particular stream, but some shit was talked about a rival gang member (according to the reddit comment) and most likely what the motive is behind the shooting

Looked at the reddit thread, and someone mentioned it being gang related. I did a little bit of looking, and seems to check out
