I don't follow these guys regularly and everything I've seen of them has been more or less entertaining but all the same, the delivery seems incredibly contrived. Like the fat guy with the glasses is trying to do a Gilbert Gottfried impression or something. They just sound like dumb characters and not actual people with actual insights. Still, they're not particularly wrong about anything they say.

Once upon a time the fat guy wouldn't argue in bad faith. He'd bring up actual statements that would need thought to be refuted. Their show is an acquired taste. A lot of people skip the segments they aren't interested in, rather than watching the whole show.

Ashton says some seriously funny shit sometimes, I think someone helps put this material together because they seem to ferret out obscure details sometimes and drop some funny jokes with it.
I will be listening for say an hour or so and once in a while Ashton will say some shit that will make me laugh out loud - and a lot of it is referencing internet or general cultural shit that should predate Ashton - sometimes some clever high-intelligence subversive humor. The guy is like 29 years old and he says stuff that makes me think he was of age in the 90s.

Don't worry about Tarl's gifts 1) you literally can't give them to him because you have a no contact order after getting him arrested (what? Three times now?), 2) he'll be dead in a month.

That was literally a Golden Ticket, someone offered to furnish you with a down payment on a project to cover fixing your equipment, purchasing materials, and with literally no project deadline (providing you kept updates on the project actually going forward). The best thing about doing work like sewing for you, you can do it from home. Set up a room where you keep everything and you can do it in between driving delivery. You can do a half hour here or there even when you have your kids. You could even teach them a little about the process and teach them a skill that will be useful as they grow up.
Hell, I don't like your drama, but I do appreciate quilts, if you had shown some initiative I might have been willing to purchase a couple for family.
