The Sig Sauer that Alex Pretti was carrying is a model known for accidental discharges when being dropped.

The specific model he was carrying was manufactured in India.

It's not the quality of steel, it's the lack of QA with their metal injection molding. They can't make the small parts of the trigger pack within spec consistently so you get a few P320s that fire when they feel like it. The P320 problem seems like a huge deal because there are so many of them between every branch of the military using them and so many police departments. I still wouldn't carry any Sig Sauer that isn't marked "Made in W. Germany" on the slide. Sig USA has been bribing the government for years to get the P320 adopted and that retarded M-7 rifle along with their belt-feds.

It's the lack of QA plus the fact that the P320 was a compromised design from the start, beginning life as a hammer fired P250 hastily adapted to be a striker fired handgun for the military contract. The P365 was a ground up striker design and bad QC hasn't made it go off in someone's holster.

There is a clip of some retard in Minnesota telling an ICE Agent to watch "Nürnberg" to understand this is exactly like back then!

I cannot stop laughing about people making these comparisons.
