I think it's because he moved into the Renton area specifically due to the tech sector there, Xbox and all.

I was just wondering the same thing. Playstation 5 is actually known for having no games. I do think Sony is faring better than Microsoft certainly but why the bias. Also, imagine being almost 44 years old and giving this much of a damn about the console wars in 2026

It's a bullshit question to ask but what does Phil want? It's already established that you can't win with him. He's based his whole business model on if a game makes $150 a stream then all is well. It won't matter how much you yell insert game company, just make great games!
 
His major tell is that he kept saying Microsoft Gaming is getting "sunsetted," a term he clearly didn't use until today. Why is he using it so much? Because everyone that already covered this two day story used it. Phil, you lazy piece of shit, be original for once in your life, Mr penultimate valedictorian.

The autist literally just parrots everything he hears others say and regurgitates old news slop from xitter but puts his own dented and boring spin on things since he really has nothing new or of value to add to anything.

I get it with Nintendo since Phil's gimmick is he's the everyday guy underdog and Nintendo is greedy and they were against him making videos 15 years ago, blah blah.

I've never understood his hatred of Microsoft and blood vendetta against Phil Spencer.

Because hes the prototypical narcissistic low wit. He delights in the failings of others (real or otherwise) and cant wait to use it as a soap box to flex how much smarter/better he is than everyone else. During the covid supply chain crisis he shit on companies who had trouble keeping stock updated because they should have had the brilliant, phil level, idea to keep a second back up global logistics supply chain ready to go just incase a once in a generation epidemic happened.

Compare any other game to the JRPG slop he plays and you can see they all get total wagequit immunity. Most games get the killswitch after 1-3 bad streams, but boring antique crap like suikoden or the latest yakooza gets 5000 separate chances where he'll beg, plead, whine and sob for his audience to 'attend, engage and support' while he barely cracks 50 bux on the median stream while flagrantly fake tipping.

It's a stretch to say Phil 'loves' anything besides gin and gacha, but if you compare how he treats random old head JRPg crap vs modern games it's clear he's at least semi sincere in proclaiming his love for them, which is a shame because the streams are a dire, total and absolute slog to watch every time he plays
