It is very self explanatory that a lot of Lolcow behavior went into the Deepweb, that being Discord servers. The cancerous community watch I often engage in (Roblox, YouTubers) would often have their hugbox Discord Servers and shitty faggotry drama in them. The problem is that this drama is the tip of the iceberg and we can only learn it from 2nd hand sources (X, YouTube, MATIlive) which are available on the Clearnet. The primary source of information is only available on those Discord servers.

There is a work around where you could view the contents of "community servers" without having to join them. However in my case, this workaround does not really work as all the servers I target are invite only with links.

I try to archive any Discord servers that is involved with a Lolcow, unless the server takes too long for me to download. The reason why this is a massive problem for me is that these invite only Discord servers would sometimes get years of information wiped! This would happen either through social engineering or if someone in their community gets outed as a pedophile. As such, there is a real risk of information being deleted.

Now the main problem here is that the Lolcows are on Discord, now what? I want solutions to this.

Good thread idea @Bullet Kin. This is just another side effects with the rise of Discord. Discord has pretty much destroyed the Internet. All the useful info (albeit it be tutorials, mods, etc) is all segregated into private Discord servers as opposed to public Internet Forums

One of the examples of cows who suffer with this is Michael Evans / Mevans (who's also the topic of the MATI clip shown above). Mevans used to have a public Twitter (which is how he became known to the Internet), however, due to getting involved with many dramas he has now resorted to hanging out on his private, invite-only Discord server, which you can only join once you're vetted. Because of this, his thread is really slow since the funny moments happen very rarely with this environment

Francis Joseph Benditt IV / fallenchungus is another example of this. Kind of a similar story with Mevans. Embarrassed himself, got involved with a bunch of drama and has no resorted to private Discord servers. Which is why his thread is currently dead

There's also a growing subculture on Discord known as "Discord Lolcows" which I talked about here:

We really need to kickstart a new initiative on archiving Discord on a large scale, like spy.pet. The backlash against spy.pet over "muh privacy" is hypocritical, because large-scale scraping/archiving efforts of social media have been done for years by Internet Archive / Archive Team, and I don't see anyone complaining to them for the same reason spy.pet got shit on.

There's no risk in posting to a discord server where people have like minded interests. The guy who wants to fuck a toaster isn't going to get made fun of for wanting to fuck toasters if he keeps his degeneracy contained to the toaster fucking discord server. The reason why guys like Dansburst and Nova get found out is because they had delusions of being content creators. No one would've known about them if they hadn't broadcast their degeneracy to the world.

Reminder that I need to create a fake Discord profile at some point and join some tranny groups (and other lolcows) with it to scrape content. It'll be a really good place to get stuff, especially the fact it's a lot more private than searchable sites on the web.

I have scrapped many servers over a long period on my own IP and haven't had an issue with having any of my accounts banned. I guess the problem of being shut down is when things get dire, then they'll ban your entire operation and you cannot really do anything.

Discord has this rule and it is only enforced if they wish to pull it up. They probably will not be happy with actively scraping Discord Servers through invite link found on the clearnet.

However researchers have scrapped Discord from public "community servers" and ended up with terabytes of information. It was all collected through Public Api calls while the users in the data are anonymized.

I do not know what the scope will be, should those public servers be targeted or selective invite-only servers be targeted?

Some of the servers I deal with have some shitty verification system where you need another account on another website to be linked with your Discord account. This is easily bypassable for me yet there are rare cases where a human reviews your verification in certain servers.

There has been some information relating to something similar to OP and I haven't seen this pop up anywhere else on the site here.

A group under the "HawkSec" username has posted on the BrachForums, claiming to have 78,541,207 across many Discord Servers. They have also saved "messages", "voice sessions", "actions", and "servers". The goal of this entire operation was to build an advanced OSINT / CSINT tool that utilizes their collected dataset. This operation was not successful and they have resorted to selling the dataset as a last resort, at a price.

They later went on X to announce that they will be sharing this information with the French authorities. They claim to have around 10 Million files.

I tried to visit BreachForums but was greeted with this image.

It appears that there was a data-leak recently on the site. Bleeping Computer (Archive)

You may be wondering why all of this matters?

With a lot of Lolcow activity moving into the deepnet, it appears this interest could potentially be protected by the feds. This could undermine our efforts if we ever plan to scrape Discord on a large scale.
An issue with the dataset is that the files themselves aren't important, instead its the user's text messages they send. The reason for this is that it is very easy to compress text on a large scale. If the files are of interest then a local copy of the files should work. Besides, the text messages they post are important to be archived.

I have begun gathering permalink invites to these "invite-only" Servers. I am trying to figure out how I should be scrapping them.

I have 5 different burners on different emails. It takes a long time to access those burners and I have a horrible VPN. I do not know how I could efficiently manage accounts in bulk.

I will begin scrapping once I have compiled at least 50 different servers although I do not know how I will commence with the Scrapping. Right now my focus is to archive text messages, files, and other Deepweb within these servers, with the intent to look for Lolcow activities. I do not know how I should archive images as it quickly exceeds the 200 MB limit and you would need to be within the server to view them.

Another thing to note, DiscordChatExporter is horrible for archival as they tend to save each individual messages containing a lot of unnecessary repeated data. It does not save the users within the server being logged. That means there will need to be changes to this tool to fit our needs.

What I am asking for is how I should be able to easily create multiple accounts to be able to scrap a large quantity of Discord servers efficiently to a compact file?

Do the scrapers only let you access the channel that your role has permission to acccess?
Because I know a lot of these trannies will let you enter the server, your default role gives you access to some really boring/dead #general
and only vetted verified people get a role that lets them view where people are actually talking about things.

so i would assume the only way to infiltrate those is to make a fake tranny profile and go undercover pretending to be fucking gay.

I can see where you are coming from, it depends on the amount of people within the server and how verification is handled. If the amount of people joining is very massive then the moderators could skim pass you and go back to doing their own things. Sometimes the verification requires an external account which could be quickly set up and allow you in easily.

I do not think it is worth the effort of spending time within that server to later gain access to the verified general and going under cover is lame and gay.

Discord may sometimes shows the hidden server channel names despite being hidden on the front-end. I guess with how these Tranny servers would be set up, the user can view the name of the more active general where most tranny grooming happens.

For those who may not know, DiscordChatExporter is a very important OSINT and archival tool. It's a very essential tool to archive evidence from a Discord server. It's far better than a simple screenshot, since those can easily be fake or taken out of context. With a server export, the full context is shown, and it's solid evidence in comparison to screenshots.

For example, the YouTuber Nux Taku had a private Discord server for his Patreon around 2018. During 2018 to 2020, it was the most active. This server had NSFW content and there were 12 cases of minors stating they were underage. With 6 of these minors confirmed to have sent at least one message in the NSFW porn channel. There was solid evidence showing that one of these minors got groomed in the server. DiscordChatExporter was used to archive the evidence for this.

If this is true, that Discord is enforcing action against users of this tool, then this is very concerning. This only protects predators, they will now feel safer to continue their grooming. Since DiscordChatExporter can't be used to archive their evil deeds if the users of the tool are getting banned for using it.

I'm willing to bet that this action is not necessarily aimed at amateur archivists taking snapshots of random discords but likely targeted at massive scraping operations feeding LLMs. Unscraped fresh data is getting ever more scarce now and the walled garden of discord servers are probably one of the last sources of genuine human-made data.

It seems like someone may already have a fix, something about adding "x-super-properties headers" to mimic browser clients to avoid these bans.

On a brief aside, are server archives really better than screenshots? Not trying to knock on the exporter or anything but you're exporting HTML files which can easily be modified in any text editor allowing someone to add fake messages in.

Yes. Years-old entire archives are exceedingly hard to curate for fraudulent purposes and edits to small entries can be referenced to possibly other archives made. They also provide behavioral evidence to determine if a person accused of grooming, say, kept linking babyfur porn and ERPing to profiles with "14yo" in their user name since 2018. AI editing is also 100% obvious when you see the cow say, "This isn't just grooming --- this is severe exploitation of a minor by me, Lolcownigger7."

Screenshots are the most easiest to abuse method, like how the media takes a single photo of a poor black man being beaten by cops, crying, and leaves out the 5 minutes of him shooting up a bbq and trying to stab the officer.

HTML is one of the formats. JSON is a common alternative when exporting. JSON is far more complex in a text editor compared to HTML.

There have been instances of multiple different types of people archiving the same server. Thus, there being multiple copies of the same export, if anyone tries to fake stuff like how you describe, it can probably easily be spotted since it wouldn't match with the other copies of the export. It can also be cross-referenced from the native server as well. But that is only applicable if the server is still viewable and not deleted.

Technically it's possible to fake such a file, but it takes a lot of effort to properly fake it compared to making a fake screenshot or a simple inspect element edit. As far as I am aware, I don't think there has been a known instance of someone purposefully faking a chat export in order to frame someone, yet.

Is there any other way to show that an account belonged to a cow before they deactivated from discord? I’m working on a thread of a cow who DFE’s to avoid accountability, so a lot of the discord messages come from the “deleted account” thing.

I believe the Account Id is linked with the message Id but Discord doesn't do a good job at searching them. You must download everything and search from there.
